primitivism is the best

2019-07-17 23:08:05 UTC

@DrRisen the last part wasn't referring to you mot responding. It was referring to how you seem to only care about what is happening now, not what could happen and what has.

2019-07-18 00:07:48 UTC

@Deleted User I'm absolutely concerned about what has happened. I.E. kulaks getting slaughtered.

2019-07-18 00:08:27 UTC

I'm not saying technocracy is *bad*, I'm saying it needs to be proven to work in a real life scenario before it has any weight behind it.

2019-07-18 00:09:28 UTC

Ok then

2019-07-18 06:08:04 UTC

Technocracy works

2019-07-18 06:08:08 UTC

Look at China

2019-07-18 12:27:09 UTC

@Normal Man it's called capital flight

2019-07-18 12:27:15 UTC

Same thing happened to France

2019-07-18 21:03:24 UTC

@everyone Daily Question 🔖

- Should the sale of fossil fuel cars eventually be banned or phased out? When should the sale of new fossil fuel cars be banned?

2019-07-18 21:03:39 UTC

phased out

2019-07-18 21:03:50 UTC

depends when eventually is

2019-07-18 21:03:58 UTC

Honestly the sooner the better, air pollution is a major issue

2019-07-18 21:04:06 UTC

once 70% of cars daily used are non-fossil fuel

2019-07-18 21:04:10 UTC

then you can go for a full on ban I guess

2019-07-18 21:04:51 UTC

@Deleted User Name your date, UK wants a ban by 2040

2019-07-18 21:04:58 UTC

Others by 2030

2019-07-18 21:05:09 UTC

I'd say 2040 is realistic

2019-07-18 21:06:08 UTC

also I think it should be a forced buy back not a ban

2019-07-18 21:06:12 UTC

Should be carbon taxed to hell to such a degree that it's cheaper to go renewable than to pay tax

2019-07-18 21:06:50 UTC

You guys can easily talk about it but hello, I am Bulgarian, most people here use cars before 2005 because they have no money for newer cars, what is left for the electric ones. How should we travel? By bicycles?

2019-07-18 21:07:26 UTC

thats why I said buy back

2019-07-18 21:07:46 UTC

and the point of waiting so long is so that hopefully electric cars will become cheaper and more viable

2019-07-18 21:08:19 UTC

Thank God we are a capitalist country as capitalism makes you richer

2019-07-18 21:08:40 UTC

Regular citizens aren't responsible for the majority of climate change effects/pollution. The government and coal companies are the real problems.
Cars need not be banned, they'll be phased out.

2019-07-18 21:08:55 UTC
2019-07-18 21:09:27 UTC

Many countries' industry are responsible for air pollution because of a simple reason

2019-07-18 21:10:22 UTC

The technology that makes so much carbon emissions is cheaper. You wouldn't start a business in a poor country with expensive technology if you don't have enough money, would you?

2019-07-18 21:11:19 UTC

I mean cars are a major factor of carbon emissions

2019-07-18 21:11:52 UTC

once africa gets as industrialized as the rest of the world we're gonna have a bit of a problem

2019-07-18 21:13:11 UTC

@Deleted User I live in the EU and the new EU commission president has got a plan that would cause a lot of troubles. It's partly related to the Global warming thing.

2019-07-18 21:13:23 UTC

And it's gonna harm our industry

2019-07-18 21:13:28 UTC

Same with the Romanian one

2019-07-18 21:14:45 UTC

@Deleted User cars are, but that's often due to lax government regulations. Cars could be made more efficient, even if they're not electric.

2019-07-18 21:14:58 UTC

Honestly, I don't think the policies against climate change that have been done by now are good

2019-07-18 21:15:08 UTC

lax government regulations because if you regulate them to much your economy fucking dies

2019-07-18 21:15:30 UTC

oh you mean make them more efficient

2019-07-18 21:15:42 UTC

sorry I didn't read the last half because I am small brain

2019-07-18 21:15:45 UTC

@President Sanders📍🇺🇸 they could if buy one from 2010

2019-07-18 21:16:19 UTC

Not everyone can
