one dude lost 2 jobs bc his mom kicked him out and now he lives 3 hours away with his dad
I found one within a week.
he had $20 in his bank by the time he got his new job
Your determination means everything when it comes to your job and finding one.
stupid ass bought himself a $2K+ jeep before he found a stable job smh
iโve held the same job since i was 17
i wouldโve started working earlier, but i was in cross country and theatre, so i just couldnโt with timing
close the store at 10:30, be at school for cc at 5 am, no maโam
It determines how you look while working, how you interact with people while working, etc, even more so it determines how dedicated you are to finding a new job, going to places of work asking for a manager to get that first connection.
Never taken a personal or a sick day off.
if you know youโre gonna quit your current job, you should already be looking for another
^
daaaamn, thatโs impressive
lol
I work through it.
I don't.
the first โpersonalโ day i took off was for my auntโs funeral so :/
that was after like 2 years of straight work
the last coworker i had quit already had a teaching job lined up and confirmed
I have one day off a week.
Not because I couldn't work thru it, but because if I ever get disabled and can't work anymore the company won't hesitate to can me out. So the question is: should I put myself on the front line for a company that has no loyalty towards me? No.
i feel that
Not about loyalty, its about making connections. Knowing higher ups of other companies.
i lost my momโs car to hurricane flood waters bc work refused to let us out early and the company did jack shit
that was harvey, btw
I know a lot, one from Coke, one from Pepsi, two from Mission and one from Frito Lay.
the good stuff
now i want chips
i fucken bought chips for myself but i canโt keep them in my room bc bugs, so i kept them in the kitchen and my bitchass siblings ate them
i could deadass put my name on my shit and theyโd still take it
I know managers, people with their own businesses, contacts thru my dad and college contacts. That still doesn't mean I will give my loyalty to a company that won't cover my ass if something happens to me. Connections are not a bad thing, but I will throw out references from jobs that are toxic or that otherwise don't contribute to my goals.
Also lol
Keep it on your room on a ziplock bag?
me chips too big
Perhaps just get a minifridge to keep in your room?
^
i donโt have a mini fridge anymore ):
me brother took it to college
How about a little lunch box for chips and stuff like that? A backpack?
technically it was my sisterโs when she was going to college but the dorm said she couldnt have more than one fridge so they put it in my room for 4 years
