Also the American Revolution was very spiritual

2019-09-12 21:43:16 UTC

A lot of it was a rebellion against the growing decadence of European establishmentarian Christianity, which is ironic given the current state of things but that spirit needs to be revived

"This we hold to be self-evident, that all men are created equal" . Britain in 1776 was hardly reactionary, it was a constitutional monarchy with only aristocrats in power. The US system was hardly better than that.

2019-09-12 21:44:06 UTC

The US didn't rebel for christain reasons

2019-09-12 21:44:10 UTC

Ok mutt

2019-09-12 21:44:29 UTC

>The US didn't rebel for christain reasons

Cringe and bluepilled

2019-09-12 21:45:30 UTC

Also "all men are created equal" is simply an expression of rejecting familial inheritance of power. Too often England, Britain, and indeed all Europe, had terrible leaders because of their obsession with hereditary monarchy.

2019-09-12 21:46:00 UTC

Prove it then @Deleted User

2019-09-12 21:46:27 UTC

The British also only temporarily stopped westward expansion

2019-09-12 21:46:36 UTC

Prove what?

2019-09-12 21:46:48 UTC

@Deleted User prove they rebelled over christianity

2019-09-12 21:47:38 UTC

Also be in temporarily or not, the fact that the British banned westward expansion despite the colonists fighting a war for almost a decade for the express purpose of desiring westward expansion showed that at best the King was a traitor.

2019-09-12 21:47:56 UTC

Also, the British system now is pretty much just as cucked as the American one, not more.

2019-09-12 21:48:12 UTC

@Deleted User you ever heard of ontario?

2019-09-12 21:48:30 UTC

It was colonized around the same time as the american revolution.

2019-09-12 21:48:59 UTC

Father vs son confrontation be like

2019-09-12 21:49:05 UTC

Anglo vs murican

2019-09-12 21:49:13 UTC

Okay? Ontario Didn't join the rebellion, nor was Ontario a western territory, but a northern one, it was also not acquired from the Indians, but from the French.

2019-09-12 21:49:39 UTC

@Deleted User so what? It was land for the americans to live on!

2019-09-12 21:49:44 UTC

That was the point of it.

2019-09-12 21:50:03 UTC

Bruh moment

2019-09-12 21:50:06 UTC

No it wasn't

2019-09-12 21:50:12 UTC

It was already settled land

2019-09-12 21:50:17 UTC

Indians were not settled peoples

2019-09-12 21:50:31 UTC

Also Indians aren't white

2019-09-12 21:50:56 UTC

No, whites were moving in at the time.

2019-09-12 21:51:34 UTC

Also the Ohio River Valley was promised, not some snowy shithole

2019-09-12 21:51:51 UTC

@Deleted User if Britain and the US both have fascist governments in the modern era, why not unite. It would be beneficial for both parties.

2019-09-12 21:52:14 UTC

Ontario doesn't snow much more than the US

2019-09-12 21:52:15 UTC

Well done @The Desert Fox V, you just advanced to level 10!

2019-09-12 21:52:29 UTC

Because we've had a long history as independent entities...

2019-09-12 21:53:04 UTC

I mean maybe if fascism came around in the 1780s right after the American Revolution or something you might have a point but it is a little to late for that now

2019-09-12 21:53:09 UTC

oh god

2019-09-12 21:53:13 UTC

it would create oceania

2019-09-12 21:53:27 UTC

lmao

2019-09-12 21:53:37 UTC

>implying the states in 1984 were fascist

2019-09-12 21:53:48 UTC

They were just generically totalitarian

2019-09-12 21:53:57 UTC

None had any real aspects of fascism

2019-09-12 21:54:14 UTC

They weren't even nationalistic, it was just a cult of personality around Big Brother

2019-09-12 21:54:19 UTC

I'll discuss more later.
