"its fiddly and hard to mechanise" ... is this code for... its actually cheaper to hire a bunch of eastern europeans then builda machine to do it
but at the end of the day... we cant possibly be expected to wrap bacon around sausages... clearly we need to cancel brexit and give control back to the EU... so they can put bacon on our sausages... also I need a polish girl to cut up my food for me... and possibly do aeroplane noises when putting food in my mouth...
It's quite possibly the shittest excuse not to leave I've heard so far, which is saying something
Now if the EU promised French maids for everyone to do their bidding I'd be more convinced.

There's a new stupidest thing I've ever seen daily

I'll take a shortage over an oversupply
My wages go up
My job security is up
And if my company goes down there are firms lined up
I don't care about the shortages of pigs in blankets
``Labour will abstain from election vote under FTPA tonight
Fresh out of Labour's shadow cabinet meeting the party is also said to recognise that a single line bill is likely to pass and that Labour MPs are not in a good place on a General Election and will refuse to vote for it.``
Will they vote for the other one three days from it?
I think the first vote on an election is tied to something about the deal
Yeah I don't understand the significance of it
> lol.. if anything this tells us we have been too reliant on EU workers
Too reliant on CHEAP workers. @wacka
get fckd gramma https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/10224578/over-70s-voting-ban-uk/
Yes π
well since mostly older people come out to vote... Id say we have to put out 2 votes... this being one...
and the other raising the voting age to 21 ... lets see who wins
Deal.
Itβs about an hour until they vote
Honestly if the over 70s can't vote then they shouldn't be taxed.
Not sure how you're going to make them VAT excempt
Kek
Simple, they have an OAP card that makes them exempt. Have a system that allows the retailer etc to I out the code or scan the card like a credit card.
Which proves the retailer etc does not need to collect VAT on that payment
Easier just to keep taxing them
Then they keep being allowed to vote
Choose one
Nah
π
it's a dumb idea that'll never gain widespread traction
But yes, you will disagree
Because you're literally a facist.
it would be easier for them to pay at point of sale.. but scan everything like you say... then get a rebate
It would be like expecting a libertarian to support wealth tax.
at the end of the year
like businesses do
