2019-11-04 00:00:11 UTC

The circle jerk accuses other places of being a circle jerk smh

2019-11-04 00:01:07 UTC

And the realities of being an EU member are already pretty clear

2019-11-04 00:02:15 UTC

Lmao the big angry point is

2019-11-04 00:02:21 UTC

"it wants to be a centralised state in the future"

2019-11-04 00:02:25 UTC

No fucking shit

2019-11-04 00:02:44 UTC

Doesn't change a single thing, all you need is one veto and almost every country in the EU is against becoming a central state

2019-11-04 00:03:03 UTC

Only France, Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg would be happy with that

2019-11-04 00:05:08 UTC

the document isn't even an official EU "secret document"? it looks like it was one dude in the british govement saying that the EU wants to become a closer and closer union? This whole article is so ultra-brexiteer it makes the independent look unbiased lmao

Hello, gentlemen. I've been monitoring Brexit (a little) from the other side of the pond ever since the referendum and from what I've heard in the latest news it seems that Johnson rejected Farage's offer and went after voters that do not necessarily agree with the Brexit party's position. Judging from the polls (which are never 100% trustworthy of course) my layman's radar tells me that if Labour and Lib Dems somehow unite, things might look pretty grim for Brexit. Which means that Johnson might still reconsider. And on a personal level I hope Tories won't have a majority by one to five seats since that would mean legislation advancement at 1/10 of a snail's pace. What are your opinions on the election prospects?

2019-11-04 01:45:02 UTC

I think Farage has consistently demonstrated he no longer has the country's interests at heart. It's become such a big part of his own self-image, he's willing to sacrifice everything to feed his own ego.

2019-11-04 01:45:16 UTC

Even Brexit itself, to be frank.

2019-11-04 01:45:27 UTC

(Note: I'm American too).

2019-11-04 01:47:48 UTC

As a friendly Canadian ambassador to this: Riot, and lynch your MPs if they don't give Brexit. I want blood, gore, Liveleak-able stuff. Don't let your Canadian brothers down, tea-drinkers.

``Nigel Farage has insisted the Brexit Party aims do "extraordinary" harm to Labour not the Conservatives, amid Eurosceptic backlash over unveiling of 600 candidates.

Prominent Tory Brexiteer Steve Baker today warned that Mr Farage was at risk of becoming the man who "threw away Brexit" by splitting the Leave vote, but the party leader insisted those accusing him of threatening a Boris Johnson majority had "short memories".

He said: “Back in 2015 I had the same headlines, the Tory tribe screaming and shouting, ‘Dont take our votes’. Last time we took way more Labour votes than we did Conservative votes.

“We are going to hurt the Labour Party in the most extraordinary way. Labour voters have been completely betrayed by the Labour Party and they’re my number one target.”``

I wonder when that TV debate between the white men is supposed to be happening

``Guy Verhofstadt: 'European affairs more important to Nigel Farage than Great Britain'

The chair of the Brexit Steering Group said: "Quite ironical that European affairs are more important to Nigel Farage than the politics of Great Britain.

"A pity, his departure would have been an enormous saving of European taxpayer's money."``

2019-11-04 10:35:07 UTC

@Storin honest to god, shut the fuck up with this nonsense

2019-11-04 10:35:20 UTC

It aint happening dude <:pepelaugh:544857300179877898>

2019-11-04 10:35:48 UTC

Even with the GE

2019-11-04 10:36:41 UTC

Essentially BRexit party and cons are in it for themselves, labour might get pushed to third which will be funny

2019-11-04 10:37:53 UTC

And even if they win for a no deal or a better deal to be possible they would have to repeal the letwin amendment and the Benn act

2019-11-04 10:38:24 UTC

Which is extremely easy if they have a majority

2019-11-04 10:50:58 UTC

I’m waiting to see if when brexit doesn’t bring the UK into the golden age who will the right blame next. Will they still blame the EU? Will they move back to blaming brown immigrants into of EU immigrants? Will they be blaming TREASONOUS REMAINERS? Can’t wait to find out who the next scape goat of all their problems will be

2019-11-04 10:51:48 UTC

I wonder if they will blame the government who has actually had the most power and control over their quality of living...

2019-11-04 10:51:52 UTC

Hmmm nah

2019-11-04 10:52:04 UTC

> Which is extremely easy if they have a majority
No parliament can bind it’s successors

2019-11-04 11:01:31 UTC

No shit
