Feminists tried to make a comic against GamerGate, but it only exposes the feminist mindset of lying with impunity.
i assumed by the context of the panels that she answered between the panels
Nope. She didn't.
That's the reason why sealioning is ridiculous concept.
and the fact hes just wearing her down until she changes her mind from the pestering and its fighting for the last word type deal
I have a feminist friend, and I have seen that any criticism of feminism gets brushed aside as if they're non issues or outliers.
This was an anti-GamerGate comic after all. Don't think it would make sense.
this is why the ethnats exist
because its weird how women and black people dont like using logic apparently
mostly because if they do, they dont get their way for free
like everyone else understands...
it took straight white people all of history to get to this point, and then in 1 lifetime, all the non-straight white men walk in like it was always here
id be pissed too
If you were the woman (or the man) in the comic, how would you deal with the sealion?
A) Explain why you don't like sealions.
B) Retract and apologize for lying, or say it was a joke or mistake or whatever.
C) Cry about someone demanding proof, sources or arguments as to why sealions are evil.
Because the people who think "sealioning" is a thing, think C) is valid way of proving your point.
i might say something, someone asks for proof, and i dont feel like going into it
because otherwise its probably an hour of time i had planned doin something else
could say 'well you shouldnt have brought up the possibility' but eh
I mean, I understand being kristiwinterized.
Meaning, someone asks proof of something self-evident, just to wear you down.
Like MSM has left-wing bias. Obvious, but difficult to prove since bias is not quantifiable in numbers, mathematics and scientific proof.
had that before
i said to a guy 'MSM, social media, and education are lefty as fuck'
"YouTube has a right-wing bias." -David Packman
and i linked him a twitter post of someone saying twitter was operated by nazis, because they were frustrated and quit the platform
and he was confused on why i was mocking it
and the only places that would have proof or evidence of left wing bias are sites with right wing bias
which are instantly discredited
its like quoting the bible as the authority, to an atheist
and it goes both ways, so who the fuck does anyone believe
unless you do your own research with history and law and the more objective things
but then other people have to consider you a valid authority
i use history and psychology where i can to base my beliefs
"I'm right, you're wrong, and I don't want my entire worldview to come into question." -someone, somewhere on the Internet.
pretty much
you have to make SOME level of impact
but not so much that they snap and reject
not so little that they barely even know you said anything
probably why its harder to argue with men
and probably why theres fewer women in debate positions
I remember in my senior year of high school, I took AP World History, and one of our topics was how Muslim women were not oppressed. I didn't bother to say anything, but some other girl in my class did. It was basically her vs. the teacher. You could not even question the idea that no Muslim woman is oppressed.
