Whatever weapon is required to overthrow a tyrannical gov

2019-11-01 08:55:06 UTC

Where my Abrams @?

2019-11-01 08:55:13 UTC

that is also not really the reason

2019-11-01 08:55:40 UTC

Yeah yeah more about if the brits return

2019-11-01 08:55:53 UTC

if the Constitution is followed, the Federal gov can never GET to the point to oppress the States

2019-11-01 08:56:04 UTC

@Northern Lights I agree but they didnt really account for the insane technological advancements in warfare

2019-11-01 08:56:20 UTC

so the notion that guns are for preventing the federal gov from imposing their will is also a common fallacy

2019-11-01 08:56:24 UTC

Yeah I've been thinking about that

2019-11-01 08:56:32 UTC

i think they did

2019-11-01 08:57:01 UTC

that is why the States were supposed to have the majority of control over their own affairs

2019-11-01 08:57:04 UTC

personalised nuclear device when

2019-11-01 08:57:10 UTC

regardless of tech advances

2019-11-01 08:57:11 UTC

not soon enough <:why:462286147473637407>

2019-11-01 08:57:15 UTC

Maybe some sort of system where its scaled up to militias so they can own stuff rather then the individuals because I see the argument against the private ownership of anti air missiles for example

2019-11-01 08:57:30 UTC

i don't

2019-11-01 08:58:16 UTC

understand that conceding to the notion that individuals aren't responsible enough to control various tech IS the reason we are in this mess

2019-11-01 08:58:26 UTC

private ownership of tactical nukes

2019-11-01 08:58:31 UTC

The catch 22 is

2019-11-01 08:58:32 UTC

groups of people are even LESS responsible

2019-11-01 08:58:51 UTC

There is an increase in violence

2019-11-01 08:58:54 UTC

and eventually, in order to keep people from owning person nukes, the State WILL have to become totalitarian

2019-11-01 08:58:57 UTC

Kids didn't used to shoot schools up

2019-11-01 08:59:09 UTC

imagine the State trying to control 3d printer tech?

2019-11-01 08:59:12 UTC

impossible

2019-11-01 08:59:18 UTC

unless nazi germany

2019-11-01 08:59:42 UTC

Maybe

2019-11-01 08:59:46 UTC

and eventually, it will become possible for any idiot to produce a weapon

2019-11-01 08:59:52 UTC

Idk how 3d printing will pan out

2019-11-01 08:59:59 UTC

the focus has to be on responsibility

2019-11-01 09:00:02 UTC

not on authority

2019-11-01 09:00:03 UTC

school shootings are a symptom of a bigger problem in the educational environment, has nothing to do with guns

2019-11-01 09:00:11 UTC

Not educational

2019-11-01 09:00:12 UTC

true

2019-11-01 09:00:15 UTC

we always had guns

2019-11-01 09:00:23 UTC

Social and cultural enviroment

2019-11-01 09:00:25 UTC

we didn't ALWAYS have school shootings

2019-11-01 09:00:44 UTC

you might critize the boomers but they never had kids shooting up schools

2019-11-01 09:01:02 UTC

and this wasn't because the ar-15 is more popualar than the m-16

2019-11-01 09:01:21 UTC

There where lots of automatics floating around after ww2

2019-11-01 09:01:29 UTC

also 3d printers are difficult to use and high quality 3d printers are very costly and printing a gun would take a least a few weeks, plus you would still need the firing chamber to be made out of metal along with any other high stress parts.

2019-11-01 09:01:38 UTC

submachine guns and 30 cals ext
