The modern white man is a catastrophic failure abandoned by the very civilisations his kind built. At no point in history has any nation abandoned their men to such suicide, misery, celibacy and chronic loneliness. To the point they isolate and eventually kill themselves.

@Violetskies well, there are probably many societies that did that. They just all died off without leaving any significant remenants behind for us to find.

Also those numbers are lower for the current generation. Im not sure if it's because it's only an issue when they're older, or if the (comparatively) higher rates of acceptance and a role for them is making their lives worth living

@Violetskies societies are not locked once formed dude, they change. It is entirely possible that some viking settlement abandoned its men and simply died off or was consumed by one that didn't.

I've spent a lot of time delving through history books to try and find examples of precisely this phenomena. The singular time I can find anything close to this was some middle eastern kingdom where the men demanded the collectivisation of women, because the rich kept getting them all

The closest I can get to this are the many recounting's of women being kidnapped as sex slaves or brides, which has happened across history too many times to recount.

But even this is several leaps from the former.
