I would love the simplicity of controls from Google Sketchup, building process from Inventor, testing environment from Solidworks/CATIA, and then have it be usable in some sort of game environment

same with fluid dynamic, control systems etc.

integrate revision control and modular component assemblies

They just don't want you to switch

well, you can't easily handle subassemblies and interchange these with components and subassemblies

nor can you create a revision tree for an inital part, branch the revisions and assign them to multiple assemblies

you can do one or the other; but not both. and the ability to create a complete BOM with a model for each part from various different models and keep them linked... it's a real pain

hoping that they will come up with some workflows to bridge photogrammetry/mesh modeling & CAD also
