Yes, The Bill of Rights protects the right for the government to prorogue, though the notion of 11 judges misinterpreting the meaning of "in" opposed to "of" is, highly suspect. They must be getting a lot of money.

feminism is just a big shit test we all failed

I just don’t really see a consensus from what I’ve been reading in other places on what this actually means in terms of Brexit being cancelled. I’ve seen remainers celebrating, but it’s not like a cancelled Brexit is assured

Lady Hale

https://www.theguardian.com/law/2019/mar/24/lady-hale-at-least-half-of-uk-judiciary-should-be-female Wants female judges on a short list (not by merit)

Notorious feminist: Lady Hale created a coat of arms bearing the motto ‘Omnia Feminae Aequissimae’, meaning “women are equal to everything”.

Champions Diversity another red flag: In addition to being a self-proclaimed feminist, Lady Hale also champions ethnic diversity in the law, “where there is still a great deal of work to do”, and “diversity in social, economic and professional background”.

appeared in reality TV: Appeals to narcissism.

Broken legal traditions

Feminism is a big shit test that weak men are failing

2019-09-24 11:56:42 UTC

Yes

2019-09-24 11:56:42 UTC

Yuk

Has her finger in the pot of Fabian society

2019-09-24 11:57:24 UTC

And Emily's List

2019-09-24 11:57:39 UTC

So yes. It was inevitable why she ruled unlawful

2019-09-24 11:59:10 UTC

So the high court is also corrupt and biased

2019-09-24 11:59:37 UTC

Of course

2019-09-24 12:01:07 UTC

The problem is weak men deny there's a feminist agenda and laugh it off

2019-09-24 12:01:34 UTC

whilst feminists calculate and consort positions of power without merit based on short lists and inheritance

2019-09-24 12:01:57 UTC

That's why they'll mock you but they can't prove you wrong

2019-09-24 12:03:46 UTC

The other reason I believe the judges ruled in the way they did is simple, not just the judges or the politicians or the rich people looking to dictate. No I'd say the Queen did have more of a hand in it see, the Queen really likes Scotland and it's Scotland's highest court than went against The Bill of Rights. The English one didn't, now it would be used by the Scottish Nationalists as grounds for independence again in a more Republican "do away with the Queen" mindset if the English case were upheld. Even though with this ruling, they're doing that anyway, they would have been more hysterical if the Supreme Court threw their case away. So in a sense this is the unifying decision in the short term, yet it does pull the jobs of the Judges into question since, if any elected government with or without a majority can have their actions overturned by rich dictators, then there's not much point in voting. 👌

send the queen to the tower

2019-09-24 12:22:29 UTC

boris said parliament will reconvene

2019-09-24 12:22:40 UTC

and we will probably still have a queens speech

2019-09-24 12:23:26 UTC

I expect one of those Assange style balcony speeches from the tower of london

2019-09-24 12:24:39 UTC

Mate the queen is useless in this

2019-09-24 12:25:40 UTC

the queen has been through more PMs and more US presidencies than anyone.. and personally spoken with them every day of her life... Im sure her perspective will be useful

2019-09-24 12:25:54 UTC

Her perspective will be a cop out

2019-09-24 12:26:00 UTC

It will be close to neutral

2019-09-24 12:26:22 UTC

neutral or moderate is sometimes a good thing to hear

2019-09-24 12:26:35 UTC

brings 2 extremes closer to the centre

2019-09-24 12:26:40 UTC

even if they dont fully agree

2019-09-24 12:27:00 UTC

Left and Right aren't going to the centre any time soon

2019-09-24 12:27:01 UTC

And now we’ll get nowhere, as usual

2019-09-24 12:27:15 UTC

Just further divisions

2019-09-24 12:27:36 UTC

best thing BoJo can do now.. is say he will "allow" a vote of no confidence in parliament

2019-09-24 12:27:47 UTC

Pretty much his only move

2019-09-24 12:28:08 UTC

Unless he brings a spoon to work

2019-09-24 12:28:11 UTC

JC will have to either vote that he has confidence in BoJo .. or we get a GE .. win-win

2019-09-24 12:28:34 UTC

Well there's an option where the opposition get in by default

2019-09-24 12:28:39 UTC

Looking at all this that is happening in UK. Maybe there is a reason why they had a Queen to rule over them and maybe they need rulers from afar now that her power has declined.

2019-09-24 12:28:41 UTC

without a GE
