Sure
Why not
There are 5 MPs in manchester and 2.7m live there
They can take Scotlands MP's
650 MPs, 70m people
yes
Very roughly 1 MP per 100,000 people
Yes, Lizard, nearly half the country have gone full-retard
You know
I stand corrected
Youre right
Cities are the people underrepresented
you probably sit corrected to be fair
I don't think that's true either
well manchester has 5MPs for 2.7m
For example
Yorkshire and humber has the same pop ish as SCOATLAAND
with the similar number of MPs
Devolution however
Was a mistake
Greater manchester
that includes places like stockport etc
I was talking about manchester
You know, im on a losing streak today
Constituencies aren't as simple as that
5 in manchester
but 500k
Even if you pick out of that list the constituencies you think are Manchest, then they're the same rough population each as the wider area
The stat I saw said "Manchester 2.7m"
but it meant greater manchester
Manchester is the actual city
with places including ashton under lyne, Oldham etc
making up the boroughs
So greater manchester is Manchester (The metropolitan borough)
and it's boroughs
However they are usually conflated which lead to my confusion
However the record is now straight
