The Australian wagyu, is just Japanese wagyu transplanted to Australia. Unlike American wagyu which is a mix breed with black Angus. Australian wagyu can be counted with the Japanese wagyu herd numbers

2019-09-27 16:24:46 UTC

Wagyu isn't particularly amazing. >.>

2019-09-27 16:24:54 UTC

As for the cows themselves, they are not even all that better than an average cow, they're just fed remarkably well

2019-09-27 16:25:08 UTC

Like I said, japanese farming autism

2019-09-27 16:25:09 UTC

Genetically, they produce much more intermuscular fat than other breeds, even without special diets

2019-09-27 16:26:46 UTC

Sous vide is probably the most hipster way to cook I ever heard of

2019-09-27 16:28:26 UTC

It's a really old technique, just made super easy now with immersion circulators

2019-09-27 16:28:27 UTC

Like

2019-09-27 16:28:34 UTC

Slow cooking? I get it

2019-09-27 16:28:38 UTC

Sous vide is just

2019-09-27 16:28:39 UTC

Why

2019-09-27 16:28:55 UTC

It means "under vacuum"

2019-09-27 16:29:04 UTC

But why

2019-09-27 16:30:10 UTC

Water has better heat conductivity than air, so it removes the variances you get in an oven, and it's easier to hold a specified temperature

2019-09-27 16:30:21 UTC

<:hyperthink:462282519883284480>

2019-09-27 16:30:23 UTC

But...
Why

2019-09-27 16:30:38 UTC

Why would you cook something at that low a temperature

2019-09-27 16:30:43 UTC

Chef autism

2019-09-27 16:30:43 UTC

2019-09-27 16:30:56 UTC

2019-09-27 16:31:17 UTC

2019-09-27 16:31:23 UTC

It makes extra soft stuff

2019-09-27 16:31:32 UTC

If there is no risk is it even fucking?

2019-09-27 16:31:33 UTC

But sous vide just sounds like hipster slow cooking

2019-09-27 16:31:36 UTC
