Fuck going to that park. It’s tucked out of the way and from what I remember doesn’t have a Lee statue in it.

2017-08-07 21:54:12 UTC

We're going to Lee Park no matter what.

2017-08-07 22:27:50 UTC

Ok. From a tactical standpoint, what has changed?

2017-08-07 22:28:59 UTC

For now, as an individual, keep your already set plan.

2017-08-07 22:29:06 UTC

If you need to change it, guidance will come out.

2017-08-08 02:03:12 UTC

Bottles with Concrete in them are confirmed antifa weapons plan accordingly

2017-08-08 02:30:02 UTC

construction helmet, sunglasses/goggle, pepper spray and a shield seem to now be the bare minimum

2017-08-08 03:16:16 UTC

If they intend to throw them we should have a means to "return to sender" with even more force.

SS mortar platoon, anyone?

Hnnnng

2017-08-08 23:03:34 UTC

I got a 20 oz bottle of J&J baby shampoo, anyone know the ratio to mix with water for pepper spray decontaminate?

2017-08-08 23:08:59 UTC

1:1

2017-08-08 23:29:47 UTC

👌🏻

2017-08-08 23:41:02 UTC

Baby shampoo?

2017-08-08 23:41:19 UTC

Clean water generally works best, I've never heard of anyone using baby shampoo.

2017-08-08 23:41:37 UTC

Just don't panic and rub your eyes, and it usually passes pretty quickly as long as you aren't sensitive to it.

2017-08-08 23:41:56 UTC

Mix water with maylox @Melektaus

2017-08-08 23:42:01 UTC

NO

2017-08-08 23:42:16 UTC

Do not use maalox

2017-08-08 23:42:29 UTC

There is no acid to neutralize, and the grittiness of the maalox can cause further irritation.

2017-08-08 23:42:31 UTC

I heard baby shampoo but even if it doesn't work at least its a smell from childhood as I burn to near death from pepper

2017-08-08 23:42:41 UTC

Just because antifa is dumb enough to put maalox in their eyes doesn't mean we should be.

2017-08-08 23:42:55 UTC

Golden dawn does that though?

2017-08-08 23:43:02 UTC

They shouldn't be.

2017-08-08 23:43:08 UTC

Maalox does literally nothing for pepper spray.

2017-08-08 23:43:14 UTC

maybe the European maalox formula is better

2017-08-08 23:43:33 UTC

Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo mixed 1:1 with water

2017-08-08 23:44:44 UTC

I don't get the baby shampoo thing, how is it supposed to help?

2017-08-08 23:45:49 UTC

Washes the shit out of your eyes I guess

2017-08-08 23:46:20 UTC

I have 2 emts in my group who were trained by uncle Sam for the sandbox and they swear by it

2017-08-08 23:46:42 UTC

The Internet says water and down soap

2017-08-08 23:46:46 UTC

3:1

2017-08-08 23:46:57 UTC

But that's just the Internet

2017-08-08 23:47:02 UTC

Internet says a lot of things, yeah.

2017-08-08 23:47:06 UTC

So it's probs horseshit

2017-08-08 23:47:52 UTC

Look, there is no magic solution to pepper spray. Nothing neutralizes it, and any relief is temporary. You have to flush it out and let it run its course. Clean water or saline solution is generally what works best, adding stuff to it doesn't make it work better.

2017-08-08 23:48:20 UTC

Milk is arguable, I've heard different stuff. But putting milk in your eyes is a good way to get an infection.

2017-08-08 23:49:39 UTC

My emt buddy says don't mix the water and baby shampoo until time to use it to maintain sterility

2017-08-08 23:50:06 UTC

If you get sprayed, don't rub your eyes or skin or you will just make it worse. Breath evenly and don't panic. Wash out your eyes, and especially rinse out your mouth if you get it in there. So long as you aren't sensitive or allergic to the irritants, it passes pretty quickly so long as you don't make it worse. I am saying this as someone who has been sprayed multiple times.

2017-08-08 23:53:05 UTC

If any of you saw the "preparing for pepperspray" post that got passed around for Auburn and Nola detailing the gear to help mitigate pepper spray and what to do if you are sprayed, as well as what to watch out for, that was me who wrote it.

2017-08-08 23:53:27 UTC

I'm familiar with the stuff, and have worked around it.

2017-08-09 00:00:39 UTC

The little sprays you normally see aren't typically that bad. As long as you don't take it straight to the eyes it normally passes in about 20 minutes or so if you don't make it worse. The danger comes from the concentrated stuff in the big fire extinguisher looking canisters, and I hate to say it but if you get directly sprayed by one of those you are going to be out of the fight for about an hour because you will be in a world of suck.
