There's probably a timeline out there (if you believe in multiple universes etc.) where Hitler's the 'good guy' of the war, and Stalin is the 'bad guy' because of how the war would've played out over polish land.

so this was down the street from me

Correct, ww2 would not have happened if instead of just devastating Europe and then fucking off, the Victors helped rebuild the losers.

2019-08-07 23:36:13 UTC

and devalue God in the communtiy

2019-08-07 23:36:14 UTC

The reason WWII happened was not because of Versailles. Versailles was slowly being lifted ever since it was fucking signed... It was because the cucked politicians in the Entente decided not to take Berlin. They decided to give Germans the opportunity to act as if they didn't lose and thus motivation to give it another go.

2019-08-07 23:36:17 UTC

It was a huge missed opportunity as well

2019-08-07 23:36:18 UTC

Tim Pool... Russian YT

2019-08-07 23:36:28 UTC

imo

2019-08-07 23:36:34 UTC

there are two ways

2019-08-07 23:36:34 UTC

There's probably a timeline out there were Hitler grew up in a loving family, graduated art school and became a widely successful painter

2019-08-07 23:36:39 UTC

that ww2 couldnt have happened

2019-08-07 23:36:41 UTC

Imagine how many shekels were left on the table by not cashing in on the reconstruction after wwi

2019-08-07 23:36:48 UTC

1: germany just got conquered

2019-08-07 23:36:59 UTC

I never understood why the art school rejected him. He was genuinely not a bad painter.

2019-08-07 23:37:08 UTC

Probably cause he was a creep

2019-08-07 23:37:13 UTC

2: instead of bullying with the treaty of versailles, we just did what we did with the south in the civil war. forgave and rebuilt

2019-08-07 23:37:13 UTC

and school is where you learn to become better, supposedly.

The terms of that Treaty, however, utterly obliterated the german economy; Kids were playing with blocks of reichmarks in the streets because their currency had no value.

2019-08-07 23:37:36 UTC

the idea

2019-08-07 23:37:40 UTC

that i said

2019-08-07 23:37:47 UTC

was abe lincoln forgiving south and rebuilding

2019-08-07 23:37:47 UTC

I mean fucking up the middle east and not rebuilding is why it's do fucked up

2019-08-07 23:37:50 UTC

because he knew if he didnt

2019-08-07 23:37:53 UTC

it'd be fucked

2019-08-07 23:38:04 UTC

they should’ve probably invested in bitcoin

I'm not disagreeing with that premise; I'm just saying that there's still some lingering anger in the south despite the comparably 'nice' post-war treatment.

2019-08-07 23:38:25 UTC

Get rid of the bads, and fix it up and do your best to heal the brokenness of the survivors

2019-08-07 23:38:34 UTC

Any fellow Aussies in here?

2019-08-07 23:38:36 UTC

The only Entente power that was actually adamant about upholding Versailles was France. Both England and the US actively helped the Germans to rebuild and lobbied for the payment deadlines to be extended functionally indefinatley...

2019-08-07 23:38:47 UTC

The Versailles is the blame narrative is a myth

2019-08-07 23:38:48 UTC

@π•―π–Šπ–—_π•Άπ–”π–’π–’π–Žπ–˜π–˜π–†π–— aye, but im not saying the south was the one forgiving. im saying the north commander (read, the president) was.

@Weez No one has internet on the underside of the world!

2019-08-07 23:38:58 UTC

2019-08-07 23:39:02 UTC

We do!

2019-08-07 23:39:02 UTC

and the kinder treatment prevented anger from reaching so high

2019-08-07 23:39:04 UTC

Some lingering > concentration camps and death camps, mein kampf and tens of millions dead.
