This stat wins battles that are impossible to win
And by only selecting pikemen with a smattering of archers and heavy infantry
You can simply butcher any enemy that opposes you
You can win odds of 3 to 1 in the enemy's favor

Upgrade their retinue building and you get EVEN MORE DEFENSE
