Doubtful. Even if we remain in the scope of Western, decidedly Christian moral codes wherein empathy is literally the highest virtue, empathy unrestrained by reason (to some degree at least) just doesn't lead to competence. So you can feel really compassionate for the other, but won't know how to help him...

In Catholicism for instance Caritas is the highest virtue, but it's not the only one.

@Dostayer It is a start, although I will do not think he is a true Conservative as he is a social Liberal. However, he is politically incorrect in a Broadchurch party of other politically correct people. I don't usually watch the Hustings debates. I stuck the last one on and low and behold, the first question I heard was "how will you deal with islamophobia and injustices". That is a "low tory" if I ever heard one. I just hope the cabinet is based. Farage wouldn't have to stand against Boris if that is the case.

It was 25 minutes of historical facts of how concentration camps were treated during the '20s, the mentality of the Nazis, etc. All that leading to the final 5 minutes, which is a slippery slope argument, of how these ICE detention centers could become the next concentration camp for illegal immigrants.

I just liked the way he said 'rise' in a German accent.

He literally uses the analogy of a bully mocking a kid in the first day of the school, and in the final day the bully punches the kid.

Why hadn't that kid been doing a self-defense montage the entire school year to prevent this? Seems unlikely.
