Nah, you don't get me fam
Also fascism is not necessarily totalitarian
Don't be mixing terms
Conserve, small government
@Anavultus And syndicalism is not preserving the status quo?
Conservatism in a classical sense can go about in many ways about trying to keep things as they always were
I'd agree that fascism could be seen as an extreme form of conservativism, but it's like comparing social democracy to communism
In a sense, american democrats are being functionally conservative when they try to reel back time to the era before Trump
You're not differentiating between the ideology of conservativism and the idea of acting conservatively Uksio

@Skogarbjorn That would be specifically mussolini brand of fascism in that graph
Man that took forever on a double post.
Fascism in ancient rome was much more benign and not as perverse
Not that it is a good system, but it ain't inherently evil or totalitarian by itself
It's just whatever the fuck mussolini was trying to do
Facism in acient Rome? Pretty sure facism was a Mussolini construct
@Skogarbjorn I mentioned a few lines before that I do NOT mean the US "conservativism"
I've never seen anyone advocate for complete social control but little or no economic control. All examples of real life fascism I can think of have involved extensive government control of both the economic and social axis, albeit more focused on the social.
He came up with it, did Marxism exist as a ruling ideology before Marx too?
That is something entirely foreign to the classical idea of "preserve the things as they are"
Wasn't communism an idea before Marx?
In the classical sense anything can be conservative in that case
Which means arguing that anything is or is not conservative is pointless
@randomNPCno3 I can't help you if you wish to remain ignorant of ancient history
Bro, you need to see a Doctor
I'm trying to point out how useless it is to compare how ideologies implemented themselves before and after the industrial age. They're effectively different worlds
With different moral logic
Fascism was cool way before mussolini was even born
>Man
> Tampon...
~The fucking logic... what are you going to do with it, shove it up your bum.
Period=the cystic infection on "her" wound has burst
No, they are not different words.
They are manifestation of the same order of things, just with one person in power that makes it into a malevolent and harmful thing
You can use religion for good, you can go and send your followers to commit atrocities in the name of god
It is but a tool it has little moral value by itself
Arguing that ignorance is neither good nor bad because it can be manipulated for either good or ill is a poor argument
It is though
Ignore in and of itself is clearly a negative thing, regardless of whether it can be manipulated into something positive
It does, but the world today works through collective morals to decide laws. Not one person
