rather than being screwed in other areas

2019-10-17 11:35:12 UTC

We literally have more bargaining power than the EU on this subject

2019-10-17 11:35:14 UTC

Such a fucking fantasy

2019-10-17 11:35:17 UTC

Lmao

2019-10-17 11:35:24 UTC

We have more power than the combined EU?

2019-10-17 11:35:26 UTC

you mean like norway and canada?

2019-10-17 11:35:29 UTC

Okay I’m dumb lmao

2019-10-17 11:35:33 UTC

Theres a reason Germany is shitting itself because we import so much

2019-10-17 11:35:35 UTC

Norway is in the single market

2019-10-17 11:35:38 UTC

Canada is not

2019-10-17 11:35:42 UTC

We will get injured in a no deal BRexit, but they will certainly suffer more (millions of EU jobs are threatened by a no deal)

2019-10-17 11:35:46 UTC

Norway is gonna leave

2019-10-17 11:35:48 UTC

they have a trade deal tho

2019-10-17 11:35:49 UTC

as much as i hate to admit, pep has a point here

2019-10-17 11:36:16 UTC

it's a matter of perspective regarding how much bargaining power the UK or the EU have

2019-10-17 11:36:20 UTC

This is too stupid now, we have dudes thinking we are more powerful than the entire EU

2019-10-17 11:36:25 UTC

Our bargaining potential has been sold short by the remain crowd and effectively meant we are now beholden to the EU therefore BRexit has failed

2019-10-17 11:36:38 UTC

And it means we will eventually rejoin this failing corrupt block

2019-10-17 11:36:38 UTC

but given sheer economic output capacity, EU would appear to have more leverage

2019-10-17 11:36:43 UTC

I’m going back to work, these power fantasies are impossible to argue with

2019-10-17 11:36:43 UTC

PEP... if the EU doesnt want a ftd ... thats fine... we would earn more through tariffs than we spend

2019-10-17 11:37:05 UTC

they would lose out... so ... its fine if they want that

2019-10-17 11:37:11 UTC

We literally don't need the EU that is the thing, it is a remain fantasy.

2019-10-17 11:37:11 UTC

what is the GDP comparison? UK vs EU?

2019-10-17 11:37:20 UTC

to the net of 8bn a year

2019-10-17 11:37:26 UTC

Inb4 Poland veto the deal

2019-10-17 11:37:29 UTC

^^ this is also true storin

2019-10-17 11:37:37 UTC

the uk doesn't need the eu

2019-10-17 11:37:44 UTC

no one really 'needs' the eu

2019-10-17 11:37:54 UTC

They need us and that has been proven many times, the EU needs to fail because it is corrupt at the root

2019-10-17 11:38:07 UTC

well, that isn't totally accurate

2019-10-17 11:38:13 UTC

Cum is dead boyo's

2019-10-17 11:38:14 UTC

Also I love how the customs arrangement has an absolute veto from Stormont

2019-10-17 11:38:15 UTC

I think focusing on GDP is a net negative for the individuals who live in Britain too. It sees people as a single working block rather than looking at their living standards. This is why the GDP rising in America means fuck all if people's individual living standards remain stagnated along with wages.

<:laughingsans:510474204148269057>

2019-10-17 11:38:20 UTC

And they will not fix it, Juncker and Barnier and Verhofstadter have all said "nope the EU is fine, it has problems but we aint dealing with them"

2019-10-17 11:38:21 UTC

the EU burrecrats in brussels NEED the uK, yes

2019-10-17 11:38:25 UTC
2019-10-17 11:38:29 UTC

but not the eu countries

2019-10-17 11:38:57 UTC

I'm interested in seeing what this deal Boris has made.

2019-10-17 11:38:59 UTC

brussels needs everyone to maintain their power base
