Just let Putin recreate the USSR
we should help Russia
we are talking about influence mostly tbh
not taking them over
Let him take Ukraine and Belarus and the caucasus
did you ask ukrainians and georgians if they want to be russians again tho?
It would be better for them to be taken over by Russia then the EU
It would be for the greater good
again
lmao
Based and Commiepilled
something something just another political Union to demolish
@The Electric Lizard talking about being blind out of hate...
The Georgian on the server is going to strongly disagree with you
Well i do really hate the EU
https://order-order.com/2019/09/05/prof-vernon-bogdanor-parliament-can-achieve-nothing/ a little hope considering recent events
Consitutionally it is well worth considering to declare the Fixed term Parliments act as unconstitutional as it is a law binding Parliament's choices of the day
We have very little in terms of a constitution, but the Sovereignty of Parliament is pretty much it. Parliament can neither be bound by its predecessors, as it cannot bind its sucessors. The Fixed Term Parliament Act, should be regarded as unconstitutional as it binds a Parlimament by requiring a 2/3 majority vote, rather than than a 50%+1 vote.
but has it been challenged in court?
Just read that the Lords would pass the bill for Friday - looks like that option is out of the window
@Hopix "Downing Street are saying that it’s not for the lords to fight this bill. They told the Lords to stand down as in their view the House of Commons has to take responsibility for their “surrender bill”. Number 10 want elected MPs to have to explain to to the electorate their decision to delay Brexit." https://order-order.com/2019/09/05/lords-surrender-boris-concedes-commons-bill/
guess that as official as you get, though one could ring up the number 10 press office
bojo is donezo
lmao
when does prorogation begin?
i think i heard in the commons that it could be selected for the end of monday, tues or wed
commons live stream was quite a few hours ago
The fuck... So now Boris wants to rush to bill through, and delay prorogation - the guy loves his 4D chess
dont forget the may deal amendment was not opposed, the tellers for no did not show even tho the no room for voting was packed
he gonna bring another vote for elections on monday
doubt it will pass
labor will likely move the goal post they set out yesterday i beleve
and after that he gets trapped by his own prorogation shenanegans
allot can happen in that time
labor mp's were asked to vote no but most abstained, they are not following corbyn blindly
the GE vote was only 1 short of winning
the ge vote needs 2/3rds of the parliament to pass
yes it does and it was 1 vote short of 2/3
i was watching, someone even shouted out in parliment when it was delivered
interesting
corbyn did not even show for the result
