Netherlands will probably support an extension, if only because any deal would be better than no deal from it

2019-09-06 18:50:21 UTC

@killerqwerty If Boris got a majority he could just repeal it so we could leave sooner

2019-09-06 18:50:36 UTC

Eastern Europe and Italy and the likely VETO countries

2019-09-06 18:51:04 UTC

@Weez did you mean: "that would be VETO'd by EU countries"?

2019-09-06 18:51:16 UTC

yep, they're not in the no deal fuckover zone

2019-09-06 18:52:24 UTC

what's to stop Boris from just leaving with no deal right now?

2019-09-06 18:52:32 UTC
2019-09-06 18:54:01 UTC

hmmm

2019-09-06 18:54:14 UTC

I actually dont know

2019-09-06 18:55:03 UTC

Boris needs to follow the law. @killerqwerty

2019-09-06 18:55:11 UTC

I think Parliament would need to agree on it, If it is not the end of the extension

2019-09-06 18:56:36 UTC

so if the EU gives the UK a 10 year extension and the traitors let it through how would the UK be able to leave before it runs out?

2019-09-06 18:56:46 UTC

Yes.

2019-09-06 18:56:50 UTC

But that would never happen.

2019-09-06 18:56:58 UTC

EU countries wouldn't allow the EU to do that.

2019-09-06 18:57:03 UTC

Because it hurts them as well.

2019-09-06 18:57:08 UTC

you're afraid the EU is trying to get you into an everlasting limbo?😂

2019-09-06 18:59:22 UTC

@Weez the amount of things that have happened over the last 4 years that would never happen makes me wary to say never

@Αγωνιζῆς I'm and aussie, so I'm not afraid the EU is going to do anything to me, I'm simply asking, what's to stop it from trying to fuck over the UK even more?

2019-09-06 19:00:16 UTC

I agree with weez here, Brexit is uncertainty for EU buisnesses too and by now most Eu states are kinda done with Brexit

2019-09-06 19:00:38 UTC

If only parliament was able to make up her mind<:why:462286147473637407>

2019-09-06 19:00:38 UTC

Also, the legislation has a letter attached, the letter which MUST be sent to the EU

2019-09-06 19:00:53 UTC

The letter SPECIFICALLY asks for a specific time and date

2019-09-06 19:01:11 UTC

The legislation also says a specific time and date

2019-09-06 19:01:18 UTC

Down to the hour.

2019-09-06 19:01:26 UTC

So there's not going to be some stupid 10 year meme

2019-09-06 19:01:51 UTC

See:

2019-09-06 19:01:55 UTC

correct, but these days, I mean we've seen a lot of weird shit over the years😆

2019-09-06 19:02:09 UTC

would be the biggest switch and bait ever

2019-09-06 19:02:38 UTC

Lmao

2019-09-06 19:02:47 UTC

If they did then technically Boris wouldn't need to agree to it 😉

2019-09-06 19:04:55 UTC

I believe in the legislation, I may be wrong, that the EU can make a counter proposal for an extension and BoJo has to accept it unless it's struck down by parliament.

2019-09-06 19:05:17 UTC

If the EU did make a counter proposal it doesn't say that he must accept it

2019-09-06 19:05:20 UTC

Let me go read it again

2019-09-06 19:06:17 UTC

I couldn't even find the text for the bill, so I'm just going on what I've seen around.

2019-09-06 19:06:31 UTC

There's the bill

2019-09-06 19:06:45 UTC

Oh

2019-09-06 19:06:46 UTC

Nope

2019-09-06 19:06:59 UTC

He must agree to the SPECIFIC asked date and time

2019-09-06 19:07:09 UTC

If they change it, technically he doesn't
