After the bill has passed they have said they would support it

2019-09-06 18:45:12 UTC

And then we'll have an extension until January <:pot_of_kek:544849795433496586>

2019-09-06 18:45:13 UTC

Corbyn said it himself

2019-09-06 18:45:24 UTC

We can't get out until January.

2019-09-06 18:46:00 UTC

Once the GE is called if the Conservatives get a majority which they likely will if they make a pact with the BXP they could gain a majority which they could then use to repeal the bill

2019-09-06 18:46:17 UTC

But that doesn't matter, since we would already have an extension from the EU...

2019-09-06 18:46:26 UTC

Only until January

2019-09-06 18:46:36 UTC

So we would leave with No Deal by January

2019-09-06 18:46:43 UTC

Yes

2019-09-06 18:47:30 UTC

That was my point, Even with all that has happened No Deal is still very likely

2019-09-06 18:47:42 UTC

Yeah sorry

2019-09-06 18:47:45 UTC

and maybe the EU will not even grant an extension

2019-09-06 18:47:46 UTC

I kinda glazed over

2019-09-06 18:48:02 UTC

True

2019-09-06 18:48:29 UTC

It's unlikely but they could do it

2019-09-06 18:48:33 UTC

Macron might veto it

2019-09-06 18:49:00 UTC

or the EU could offer an extension in till 2030 and if parliament doesn't vote it down the gov will have to accept it.

2019-09-06 18:49:01 UTC

idk what the support is for an extension rn ye

2019-09-06 18:49:09 UTC

France nor Germany will tbh

2019-09-06 18:49:31 UTC

Didn't Macron say that he would only offer an extension if we held a second referendum?

2019-09-06 18:49:34 UTC

That'd be VETO'd be countries @killerqwerty

2019-09-06 18:50:08 UTC

Netherlands will probably support an extension, if only because any deal would be better than no deal from it

2019-09-06 18:50:21 UTC

@killerqwerty If Boris got a majority he could just repeal it so we could leave sooner

2019-09-06 18:50:36 UTC

Eastern Europe and Italy and the likely VETO countries

2019-09-06 18:51:04 UTC

@Weez did you mean: "that would be VETO'd by EU countries"?

2019-09-06 18:51:16 UTC

yep, they're not in the no deal fuckover zone

2019-09-06 18:52:24 UTC

what's to stop Boris from just leaving with no deal right now?

2019-09-06 18:52:32 UTC
2019-09-06 18:54:01 UTC

hmmm

2019-09-06 18:54:14 UTC

I actually dont know

2019-09-06 18:55:03 UTC

Boris needs to follow the law. @killerqwerty

2019-09-06 18:55:11 UTC

I think Parliament would need to agree on it, If it is not the end of the extension

2019-09-06 18:56:36 UTC

so if the EU gives the UK a 10 year extension and the traitors let it through how would the UK be able to leave before it runs out?

2019-09-06 18:56:46 UTC

Yes.

2019-09-06 18:56:50 UTC

But that would never happen.

2019-09-06 18:56:58 UTC

EU countries wouldn't allow the EU to do that.

2019-09-06 18:57:03 UTC

Because it hurts them as well.

2019-09-06 18:57:08 UTC

you're afraid the EU is trying to get you into an everlasting limbo?😂

2019-09-06 18:59:22 UTC

@Weez the amount of things that have happened over the last 4 years that would never happen makes me wary to say never

@Αγωνιζῆς I'm and aussie, so I'm not afraid the EU is going to do anything to me, I'm simply asking, what's to stop it from trying to fuck over the UK even more?

2019-09-06 19:00:16 UTC

I agree with weez here, Brexit is uncertainty for EU buisnesses too and by now most Eu states are kinda done with Brexit
