Gonna leave this here, since it seems a new party is being relaunched that looks promising. I know little of this old party since I am not big on UK political history

@Mikey its an odd state of affairs when you have more optimism about tory kdds than me
Jack, you've seen my outbursts in PMs when I got really sick of the political process. I was angry for a few days and willing to go the full way and throw my vote away and democracy all together, but that level of pessimism and anger towards what is happening is only going to end badly. Though, I'm obviously not going to go commit any political violence, that'd just be stupid. I'd rather just look at it and keep a level head. Plus, I'm an optimistic person in general about other things, so I'm keeping that level headedness with this too.
Plus, I've also had my head in the clouds of as late, and it's been nice just being chill about everything, @JackH670 lmao
holy shit bro

Corbyn will still lose

@WeaselWords pretty cool to see how nuanced his views are
its about bojo not getting a majority alone
mostly
Well think about what happens if Boris Johnson has to lead a minority government
That being absolutely nothing
epic lols for me
thats for sure
Boris couldn't pass his Brexit deal
It would just be a stalemate for 5 years
where is the bad thing in that tho
<:pepelaugh:544857300179877898>
5 years of the Government doing nothing in Brexit is just going to be annoying
We need one side to win eventually
To be honest if we had another Conservative minority government there would probably be another election within a few years
just keep calling elections ad infinitum
It'll be like 1974
Well eventually one side would get a majority
Might take a few years and a few elections though
1974 the year of two elections
No thanks to that again
I don't even know what Boris could do if he had a minority government
Nothing
His main policy is Brexit and he wouldn't be able to do it
He's already demonstrated as such
But i don't think he would just call for another election instantly
As much as it won't happen, I fully expect him to resign within a year if he gets a minority
inb4 labour going up in the polls convinces some labour-supporting idiots that "ah, there's no need to vote since corbyn will get a good amount of MPs anyway"
it seems like the kind of high IQ move that would be pulled <:BIGBRAIN:501101491428392991>
