2018-11-11 13:40:05 UTC

Oh yea? What did she fix?

2018-11-11 13:40:05 UTC

and I'm no health food junkie, I consider cheeseburgers a point of American Pride

2018-11-11 13:40:11 UTC

but this stuff was objectively delicious

2018-11-11 13:40:25 UTC

2018-11-11 13:41:11 UTC

the stuff was freaking awesome

2018-11-11 13:41:19 UTC

Loaded with protein I see.

2018-11-11 13:41:42 UTC

still has a good bit of carbs, but check all those vitamins out and protein yes

2018-11-11 13:41:49 UTC

You are blessed to have a wife that knows how to cook. That’s becoming more and more rare these days

2018-11-11 13:42:16 UTC

Just got her a 5 Quart Artisan KitchenAid Mixer ❤

2018-11-11 13:42:19 UTC

Yea lol that’s the first thing I went through. Reading Nutrition facts on everything is a must

2018-11-11 13:42:43 UTC

She could've burned water when we met, and I had a lot of country cooking skills from my upbringing, but she surpassed me years and years ago

2018-11-11 13:42:50 UTC

I still make chili beans and some things

2018-11-11 13:42:53 UTC

she's the pro now

2018-11-11 13:43:01 UTC

Smart man. Spoil her with the best kitchen gadgets and so she can enhance her craft

2018-11-11 13:43:07 UTC

👍

2018-11-11 13:43:36 UTC

Damn I’m gonna have to figure out how to get my girl to surpass me in cooking lol

2018-11-11 13:43:59 UTC

@hardmous nice program man.

2018-11-11 13:44:38 UTC

She learned about roux, and now, makes all our soups from scratch, green bean casserole for thanksgiving? TOTALLY from scratch, right down to making the french onion topping in a deep fryer, and using the knowledge of roux to make homemade cream of mushroom soup

2018-11-11 13:44:59 UTC

Y’all must be from Louisiana

2018-11-11 13:45:02 UTC

tomato soup, gravies and all kinds of soups, cheese sauces for homemade macn cheese, all down to learning and mastering roux

2018-11-11 13:45:20 UTC

nah, that's just cooking skill, roux is the base for any gravy etc

2018-11-11 13:45:30 UTC

I'd suggest Good Eats, old Alton Brown cooking show

2018-11-11 13:45:38 UTC

True, I mostly never hear anyone outside Louisiana mention roux

2018-11-11 13:45:46 UTC

it's where we learned about roux, very informative about the science and history of food/cooking

2018-11-11 13:46:30 UTC

When I was younger and learned about the fond and how to deglaze and cook with it that amped up my cooking game

2018-11-11 13:47:23 UTC

After leaving the gym me and my girl went to a buffet and I smashed on some protein lol.

2018-11-11 13:47:26 UTC

nice, yeah I'd still like to make a good beef burgundy, but haven't tried that before

2018-11-11 13:48:06 UTC

You’re making me hungry lol

2018-11-11 13:48:13 UTC

2018-11-11 13:48:16 UTC
