I'd know that'd be immoral.

2018-07-16 09:49:15 UTC

God pre-existed his descriptions. His works are greater than the attempts to descirbe them besides.

I don't believe that God is subject to time. I do not think it is beyond his power however, to experience time through any being who does experience time, at any point in history or the future, as if it is happening right now. To a person it would seem fantastic, but to God it's probably no big deal.

Jesse says the Truth is written in our heart, I don't think that truth was written on a certain date, but it is eternal because Truth is eternal.

"The Truth is written in our heart" "Your heart's not pure"

2018-07-16 20:26:38 UTC

thoughts are the impure part. mind is the trickster. God made all, is everywhere, is transcendent of our trappings. All powerful, etc

Exodus 21 This is supposed to be Gods word ?

the problem that all atheists have is they believe their understanding of existence is existence. they confuse the map for the territory. they do not include in their model that there are non-ordinary realities. they don't know what to do without definitions and words to compare with other words. but all words are an attempt to describe the indescribable. you can describe the flavor of chocolate in words to someone who has never tasted it, but the words will probably not equal the taste of chocolate in that person's mouth. the atheists problem is that they are yearning for an authority figure in their life who can bestow on them a sense of pride in their ego. If you would like an unequivocal "definition" of God, call him Eternal Life. An atheist would need to stretch wide their mind-hole to include a concept other than what their dead instruments can measure. Try conceiving of a level of awareness in which time does not exist.
what does an atheist gain even if they were to "win" and destroy God? Isn't society irreligious enough for them already? if they aren't happy now they will never be.
"Whatever you cannot live without, then that is your God" -i forgot who said that
Atheists are fundamentalist believers, they believe anything that someone with an university degree writes and publishes. They're authoritarians. It's well enough that they aren't religious because there are plenty of wolves in sheep's clothing already, at least atheists are up front. But they need to forgive their fathers.

@Truth#3972 never responded to anything I wrote in answer to his previous questions

2018-07-20 21:06:02 UTC

God told us all to not hate but love one another. It’s that simple, but so simple ppl forget. Amen brothers and sisters.

2018-07-20 22:33:32 UTC

I would agree in that sin is any activity that takes us away from ourselvs so to not know God

2018-07-20 22:33:51 UTC

i really need to scroll down.

@J_G_ didn’t know you studied the vedas!!! I done alil bit myself, and I’m also into Vedic astrology (:

if all the language and books in the world were to disappear, and we all got amnesia, eventually someone would figure out mediation, or God would manifest and teach us again. And eventually some serious people would meditate for 1000 years and the sanskrit language or something like it would appear again, and the truth would eventually be written again because it is the truth. if stuff is the truth, then it's always the truth, and it's the truth on any planet, in any universe, etc.

im pretty sure that all religions come from or are related to india or the indus valley.

2018-07-23 13:49:58 UTC

You’re onto something sir

2018-07-23 14:43:38 UTC

Nope

2018-07-23 14:44:04 UTC

Jesus = only way to the father

2018-07-23 17:22:04 UTC

God is infinitely old and can do whatever he wants. God can draw you unto him without any intermediary at all.

2018-07-23 17:22:46 UTC

That's what is meant by omnipotent. I can't say what he will do, but he can do anything.

2018-07-23 18:19:04 UTC

That’s how I feel with it

2018-07-23 18:44:24 UTC

Do you believe God has the inability to interact with the world?

2018-07-23 21:18:27 UTC

No

2018-07-23 21:20:46 UTC

Hippies

2018-07-23 21:57:29 UTC

I do hope I was not included in the hippy part

2018-07-23 21:57:36 UTC

Bc I hate their lifestyles lol

2018-07-24 00:10:41 UTC

I’m of the same opinion; I believe God created the world, but has the inability to directly interact with it.

2018-07-24 01:13:41 UTC

So Deism?

2018-07-24 01:15:06 UTC

Deists are very selective about historic documents. They accept the testimony of Suetonius that Julius Caesar crossed the Rubicon, but they reject the much more widely documented testimony of Moses (and others) about the Judeo-Christian faith. Why did Suetonius speak the truth, but Moses was a liar?

Of course, the ultimate event which disproves deism is the Incarnation. If we can prove (beyond reasonable doubt) that Jesus Christ is the Incarnate Son of God then we absolutely disprove deism.

2018-07-24 01:18:47 UTC

"There is no evidence from nature and reason alone that God is good. Nor is there any evidence from nature or reason alone that the good life includes care for others unless it benefits oneself."

2018-07-24 04:32:50 UTC

You even learn of Jesus’ existence in history class, I think it’s hard to deny that much.

2018-07-24 04:33:55 UTC

Then comes someone who says “how could you know? You weren’t born at that time” & etc.. then I guess every historical figure we have documented doesn’t exist either... lol

2018-07-24 06:04:27 UTC

jesus for sure existed, its everything else thats up for debate

2018-07-24 11:56:01 UTC

I would say that Jesus exists right here and right now. Those who are obsessed with the temporary physical forms as opposed to the spiritual, do not know Chirst or God, and they love death. Spirit is not a physical measurable natural phenomenon, and yet all that is manifest is a result of what was once in the spirit. But why worship the creature when we can worship the creator?
Proverbs 8:36 "But those who fail to find me harm themselves; all who hate me love death."

2018-07-25 01:24:45 UTC

Very true

2018-07-25 01:25:46 UTC

Even the way so many people scramble to find all this actual proof of biblical events in order to try to disprove it is interesting to me. You know everything already in spirit.
