If there is no racism because things are only good and evil, is there also no bullying, lying, lust, ect. Couldn't you just say that racism just like other names for evil act are just ways of categorizing evil deeds for sake of being specific during a discussion? I do believe that racism isn't that big of a problem in this country but it's a word on still find useful to describe a specific act of evil.

The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin, so that we will take it seriously and repent, if we have no conviction of our sin, it's the hallmark of a reprobate mind that is fully lost.
if it's a guilt that you cannot get past even after repenting to God in Jesus' name and turning away from that sin/lifestyle, then yes, that would be torment to keep you in the past... give it all to Jesus He said come to Me all who are weary and heavy-burdened and I will give you rest. Another part of the Scripture says to cast all your cares upon Him who careth for you. ❤
