I think the worst part about getting money for nothing is that it gives a person who is not producing the power to compel someone else to perform work, which is almost the definition of slavery.
It is new age slavery
just look at the crown and royalty iconography in poor neighborhoods
a lot of people imagine themselves as some kind of royalty due to literal 'entitlement'
I don't think poverty can be fought by giving someone something for nothing
