Labor shortages are only amazing for the worker, if there's actually workers in the industry with the shortage. Otherwise the industry just collapses and you have a surplus of people looking for new jobs
The ideal is enough workers to kepp the industry healthy, but just enough of a shortage that there's competition that drives up wages
