A watermark is used to prove if something is fake or real. Not to prove who owns it. The watermark on your dollar bill proves it is real, not that the machine that made the water mark owns it, it is a fucking printer.

2019-11-06 18:09:53 UTC

And people can't own memes in the first place.

2019-11-06 18:09:57 UTC

So... if you put a watermark on flat earth...

2019-11-06 18:10:05 UTC

Where the hell did you people find this guy? I honestly can't tell if he's actually retarded or just pretending.

2019-11-06 18:10:18 UTC

To be honest, once something is on the internet, nobody can really own it

2019-11-06 18:10:20 UTC

you can own memes

2019-11-06 18:10:31 UTC

I have memes you have never seen

2019-11-06 18:10:33 UTC

Whatever you try and do, it will be copied

2019-11-06 18:10:34 UTC

I own them

2019-11-06 18:10:36 UTC

No you can't. You can just save copies of them.

2019-11-06 18:10:43 UTC

it will be copied and spread

2019-11-06 18:10:47 UTC

But I literally made those memes

2019-11-06 18:10:53 UTC

And?

2019-11-06 18:10:58 UTC

And never shared

2019-11-06 18:11:00 UTC

I own them

2019-11-06 18:11:15 UTC

Even a massive company that specializes in drm hasn't been able to stop copies (denuvo)

2019-11-06 18:11:21 UTC

Ok? Good for you for keeping memes no one else will ever laugh at.

2019-11-06 18:11:35 UTC

Yup.

2019-11-06 18:12:02 UTC

this guy seems to be unaware of the concept of ownership
earlier somebody called him a commie and i thought that was mean but now i see it was on point

2019-11-06 18:12:08 UTC

The power of a meme lies behind how many times it is copied to another place.

2019-11-06 18:12:21 UTC

Ownership over digital media, yeah, ok >.>

2019-11-06 18:12:26 UTC

Not behind who made it, or who owns it.

2019-11-06 18:12:41 UTC

Actual ownership watermarks cover the whole image so you can't look at it properly until you pay for the unwatermarked version. The iFunny watermark just indicates where you found it.

2019-11-06 18:12:42 UTC

Its like trying to own water by grabbing at the sea

2019-11-06 18:13:17 UTC

tsar tank

2019-11-06 18:13:18 UTC

And holy crap is that actually Aydin Paladin?

2019-11-06 18:13:27 UTC

Digital media doesn't exist without paying internet and electricity bills anyways.

2019-11-06 18:13:32 UTC

authorship then. you talking like brainlets on purpose because this is the shitpost chat?

2019-11-06 18:13:55 UTC

Is that really aydin paladin?

2019-11-06 18:13:59 UTC

>>>> that way

2019-11-06 18:14:05 UTC

In Rhetor

2019-11-06 18:14:24 UTC

Authorship? Who cares who made the meme? That's literally worthless to everyone, sometimes even the OP.

@Kinky Kitsune (Coomer) Nah, it was a prototype invented by one guy, once shown to a Tsar and rejected

2019-11-06 18:15:14 UTC

I doubt it, probably an imposter

2019-11-06 18:15:47 UTC

Its not like you wrote a greek epic. You posted some shitty image of an sjw screaming with two text bars.

2019-11-06 18:15:50 UTC

I would love to see a tsar tank in a game tho

2019-11-06 18:15:53 UTC

Because why not?

2019-11-06 18:15:57 UTC

If the creator of a meme wanted credit for making it they would have watermarked it

2019-11-06 18:16:06 UTC

But literally no one does
