Maybe I’m the only one who can
Nothing a therapist can tell you that you cant get from reading the bible or praying but at the same time, its good to talk to a neutral person so I dont knock it at all
good
He’s deff thug life material
Lmao
Yeah, I go to therapy still now just bc I like my therapist a lot. She’s a Christian too, and I really enjoy just talking with someone in a comforting setting bc I’m still a woman. Hahahaha
Also since that’s the profession I want to get into so she does give me advice on that
When I become one Id want to carry on jesses message to forgive the parents and drop the anger
And watch how their life unfolds, watch the depression and anxiety decrease
Good point
I have a behavioral therapist for ptsd but dont visit her often, maybe like once or twice a year, she has me come in to make sure im good and not at risk
That’s really good
There are good therapists, I know from experience
There are not good ones too
That have their own issues still
I get asked all those same questions, suicidal thoughts, harming people, etc etc.
Yeah
I get same once a month I think
My best therapist helped me rise out of my trauma when I was 12
I was molested by my cousin at that time, so as a defense mechanism I started dressing as a boy to make myself unattractive
I even was saying to address me as a he
Wow
That’s how I also know transgender identity issues are trauma
It’s not natural
Imagine if I were doing that in this day and age as a result of trauma; the therapist due to liberal propaganda would be *encouraging* me instead of discouraging it
So I’d never heal
Amazing, good point - life could be changed drastically over liberal propaganda

I’m so happy I had her to guide me out of that
It was traumatic for me bc I grew up with that cousin like a brother
So it rlly messed me up
I can only imagine
Worst part of my ptsd is paranoia and my dark sense of humor and insensitivity to death but I think paranoia keeps me alive - otherwise I feel generally healthy especially since getting off meds
That’s so great, I’m weaning off my antidepressant myself.
I have a dark sense of humor as well
I had to wean off little by little
I noticed your insensitivity towards death but I can also understand that given you being a veteran
Theyd prescribe me anti-depressants to deal with PTSD which i thought made it worse and made me more tired all the time
Oh wow
Did you take Paxil by any chance?
