If the UK chose to become a republic, which is what I think you are angling would I be chill with it? Yes. If they tried to storm Buckingham and guillotine the monarchy? Fuck no.
@Storin Well I'd hope so, because those would be French people.
It's not going 'choose' to do anything, unless forced.
That just means they're not traitors, they're enemies.
Well the queen really doesn't do anything anyways so
not like your really changing much in that.
But them just fullfilling the final nail to kill the royal family
There's no reason to guillotine all monarchy. Might be good to guillotine Andrew, though.
She has far more power than peeps realise, she just chooses not to exercise it imo.
And for good reason
So if the upcoming King says "Change migration laws" and Parliament refuses
would you back the king
Latest stats put the UK at like 40% wanting an authoritarian leader and I think its something like 7-8% at wanting the monarchy back, those odds are not good for liberty or libertarianism 🤔
Parliament and democracy are well and truly on the way out in the UK tbh
*The people want a strong leader* <:powerful:595334910764515338>
I can provide great reading material on this.
BUF material.
So you would follow the king/royalty if they commanded actions in preservation of British state/people but detriment against these liberal intersectionalist ideas?
he is buffoon
What about king scrooge?
> if they commanded actions in preservation of British state/people
Sadly will never happen
They're too desperate to cling onto what little power they have left to act
Too cowardly to act, when needed.
Cause from the sound of it the people don't seem to much recognize them outside some ceremonial shit
I'm in a very tricky position, if the monarchy took charge I'd probably initially support it tbh because strength, however I think I am mostly on the side of liberty and individual rights, if you get a good tyrant there is no system better, and if you get a bad one there is no system worse
A monarch that signs the law which brings the death of their own people is no monarch to be served.
But you wouldn't do it organically if it came to you and your lot wanting to preserve the English people? From Policies that would essentially disinherit them.
Twitter is pissing me off again
they still have me on an auto hide list
If they've made the choice dude it is not my place to take it from them, its up to the others to show they don't agree with it 🤔
And if they are in the minority and cant win through parliament or peaceful action, then a country split or war would seem inevitable 🤔
awww common dude we are collective group but we act as individuals in order to preserve the group and are inherently obligated to serve one another in that sense. Especially since our predecessors did that in the face of adversary from powers that very well were willing and able to do what we essentially are against now. In terms of the gryopers.
Yea and if we are the minority and they win then either accept the loss or go fighting, but do not drag it out or bitch about it, that is what remainers do <:pot_of_kek:544849795433496586>
Ya and look what damage they have caused to you lot
delayed brexit for 3 years sowing division and are essentially forming colonies in your country
same as it is in America
Id like to hope there is more to be done besides resulting in mass shootings if I or others actually want effective change to occur
