Pretty clear to see

2019-10-06 11:12:19 UTC

Tories: Can you please stop sabotaging us leaving the EU?
Labor: No.
Tories: Can we have an election then?
Labor: No.
Tories: Fine, then we're going to do as much damage as we can to EU and force them to cut us off.
Labor: Wait, no.

2019-10-06 11:13:12 UTC

The tories are sabotaging themselves

2019-10-06 11:13:30 UTC

Imagine being in majority govt for many fucking years

2019-10-06 11:13:39 UTC

and being too weak to get anything through parliament

2019-10-06 11:13:49 UTC

and then blaming it on the opposition who are there to OPPOSE

2019-10-06 11:13:52 UTC

So dumb lmao

2019-10-06 11:14:52 UTC

*beep boop* Shill detected

2019-10-06 11:18:37 UTC

@PureEvilPie up in till now they've haven't been trying to leave, and as soon as they did former members of their own party, now members of the opposition sabotaged them.
And it's not the opposition party's job to mindlessly oppose everything the government does, it's their job to act in line with what they promised to do before they were elected. and before they were elected Labor promised to uphold the results of the referendum.

2019-10-06 11:18:55 UTC

Ya things change

2019-10-06 11:19:01 UTC

Before the referendum we were promised a good deal

2019-10-06 11:19:04 UTC

Single market benefits

2019-10-06 11:19:10 UTC

We don't see that happening do we!

2019-10-06 11:22:16 UTC

Further more, the opposition was offered a general election, they refused. If they thought they had the support of the people they would have taken it, they nakedly know that they are acting in opposition to the people's desire.

2019-10-06 11:24:59 UTC

No

2019-10-06 11:25:06 UTC

It's called knowing that FPTP will fuck them

2019-10-06 11:25:19 UTC

Not that hard to look at how the election will turn out

2019-10-06 11:25:25 UTC

seeing as how libdem and labour vote is split

2019-10-06 11:25:32 UTC

Even if together they have more support

2019-10-06 11:28:48 UTC

@PureEvilPie The leave side have the same issue with the Tories and the Brexit party, and at the moment CON + BXP is 50%, LAB + LIB is 38%

2019-10-06 11:29:17 UTC

imagine counting labour as a remain vote lul

2019-10-06 11:29:30 UTC

It's mostly Remain

2019-10-06 11:29:41 UTC

The main Remain Parties are the Lib-Dems and Greens

2019-10-06 11:29:52 UTC

fine, let's not count them, then it's 15%

2019-10-06 11:32:31 UTC

19% Since the Greens are on 4%

2019-10-06 11:32:47 UTC

But regardless Brexit has a big lead

2019-10-06 12:16:17 UTC

Yea

2019-10-06 12:16:25 UTC

because obviously only 15% of the country want remain

2019-10-06 12:16:37 UTC

thats why in the past 3 fucking years there has only been one poll with leave ahead

2019-10-06 12:16:52 UTC

Of remain vs leave in a second referendum

2019-10-06 12:17:21 UTC

But yea lets just be wilfully ignorant, something brexiteers are experts at 🙂

2019-10-06 12:18:25 UTC

I mean what do you want? Popular vote?

Brexit won that.

FPTP? Parties that promised brexit already won that

PR? By the current polls brexit supporting parties will win that too

2019-10-06 12:18:27 UTC

What do you want

2019-10-06 12:20:11 UTC

Maybe a financial sector only vote?

2019-10-06 12:20:16 UTC

Maybe cities only?

2019-10-06 12:20:19 UTC

Tell me

2019-10-06 12:20:21 UTC

What do you want

2019-10-06 12:22:25 UTC

Maybe a return to pre 1918-23 before men and women (respectively) regardless of status etc got sufferage?

2019-10-06 12:36:37 UTC

@Joshu He wants referenda every weekend with ever increasingly specific and numerous leave options until remain wins. And then you can wait another 20 years if you want another referendum, after all, a referendum on any issue is supposed to be a one in a generation event.

2019-10-06 12:41:06 UTC

An educated peoples only vote 🙂
