Add a dark pin wash to the corners where dust pigment has accumulated. Either that, or get a somewhat stiff brush and dust it off a bit.

If you add any more chipping now it's going to start to look salt-covered rather than chipped
In fact, use a pin wash everywhere.

Citadel paints are too expensive to be worth it.
Tamiya master race
TBH I've yet to find a decent acrylic paint that's reliably brushable.
Any acrylic paint.
Tamiya has a "Paint Retarder" that makes brushing easier
Yes that's what it's called

Yeah, I've heard of it, but my local hobby store doesn't stock it.

It's not pigment or chipping, it's a stripped-off whitewash.
Russkie winter camo was just chalk dust mixed with water so it would wash off when the rains came in spring but stay behind on sides and little nooks and crannies.
It came out a little too speckley because I sprayed it on with a too low PSI without thinning the paint out enough to compensate.
I used the hairspray technique to get the majority off and then cleaned up the rest with touchups by hand brushing.
Goodness. I had forgotten about this place
Here's a drawing
