well sure

2019-05-12 12:47:23 UTC

but you wish to contest celcius or something

2019-05-12 12:47:43 UTC

it's not just names

2019-05-12 12:47:46 UTC

and not all science is based on previous information and result

2019-05-12 12:47:47 UTC

or units

2019-05-12 12:48:06 UTC

well, eventually you need to fit everything into a dominant theory

2019-05-12 12:48:18 UTC

all side theories that could be just as valid collapse

2019-05-12 12:48:26 UTC

or ad hoc methods

2019-05-12 12:48:39 UTC

well, like which temprature thoeries are there , or where

2019-05-12 12:49:06 UTC

a thoery isnt disproven by default when ontother arises

2019-05-12 12:49:19 UTC

I prefer the newtonion view of things

2019-05-12 12:49:24 UTC

im not talking about scientific theories inside science

2019-05-12 12:49:25 UTC

It's very simple

2019-05-12 12:49:36 UTC

so if there is another option that option should sill be ther if it isnt false

2019-05-12 12:49:47 UTC

science is a description of the world

2019-05-12 12:50:04 UTC

no

2019-05-12 12:50:12 UTC

there can be other descriptions

2019-05-12 12:50:33 UTC

science seeks to explain everything in terms of previous paradigms

2019-05-12 12:50:47 UTC

i dont think so

2019-05-12 12:50:58 UTC

if you assume the world works like a machine then all new discoveries try to follow that until it breaks

2019-05-12 12:51:05 UTC

some scientist have a preset of bias sure, but thats ppl being flawed

2019-05-12 12:51:21 UTC

and isnt science as soo as the bias iis introduced

2019-05-12 12:51:25 UTC

you explain things in a wrong manner, that seems to be useful for us but doesnt get close to the truth

2019-05-12 12:52:23 UTC

it only breaks, because some "scientist" fucked up

2019-05-12 12:52:40 UTC

Somalia is being overrun by Negroids.

2019-05-12 12:52:52 UTC

newton's mechanics eventually werent good enough to describe everything

2019-05-12 12:52:59 UTC

so we found relativity

2019-05-12 12:53:07 UTC

which is completly different

2019-05-12 12:53:41 UTC

for example your description of temperature might work and the equations might predict well but you say nothing about the real nature of it and thus can't know what is really going on

2019-05-12 12:54:07 UTC

Something that I learned after hours of debating people (and I'm not kidding about this) is that some people *actually* don't realize that intelligence affects socioeconomic status more than socioeconomic status affects intelligence

2019-05-12 12:54:20 UTC

the molecules accelatere and the temprature rises as isthe presure

2019-05-12 12:54:24 UTC

It's something that is so obvious

2019-05-12 12:54:33 UTC

i literaly found this out by myself when i was 8

2019-05-12 12:54:43 UTC

called some college to ask if its treu

2019-05-12 12:55:08 UTC

you can never know if thats the objective reality though

2019-05-12 12:55:21 UTC

Like hey, this group in our country has a low socioeconomic status, WHY could that be? Well many reasons yes... But, it could be an indicator that that group has lower intelligence.

2019-05-12 12:55:25 UTC

its just a description using human language

2019-05-12 12:55:28 UTC

2019-05-12 12:55:29 UTC

you can look at the moleculair relative accelaration to see what the temprature is

2019-05-12 12:55:40 UTC

I wouldn't assume that without more evidence though
