If you will not fall for it, I have the redpill here also.

2017-07-30 13:05:11 UTC

But you asked for it.

2017-07-30 13:05:52 UTC

Give you consent.

2017-07-30 13:05:55 UTC

First of all, our nature is selfish, not compassionate.
Second, implying that we will be gods is extremely optimistic and will probably never be an option for us, at least not in our current biological shape or form.
And last but not least, there is no true way of being happy, "being happy" is just a transient, chemical state which's interpretation is up to us.

2017-07-30 13:06:19 UTC

Ha

2017-07-30 13:06:39 UTC

Our nature seems to be more on cooperation than selfishness (the two can work together)

2017-07-30 13:07:01 UTC

I'm sorry you believe we are set against each other.

2017-07-30 13:07:29 UTC

You can see this in pretty much every species, the top priority is to ensure an individuals well being, the second priority is to ensure the well being of individuals around it

2017-07-30 13:08:04 UTC

And this is no "evil selfishness", it's just the design for basically every species as a result of evolution

2017-07-30 13:08:24 UTC

Our first ancestor was essentially a machine. A single celled organism with very few goals. Survive, consume, reproduce. How are we any different?

2017-07-30 13:08:27 UTC

Humans evolved in groups, it's not the lone individual of who we evolved from

2017-07-30 13:09:04 UTC

There's still priorities, and the individual is always its own top priority

2017-07-30 13:09:05 UTC

The problem is, how to overcome this robotic existence.

2017-07-30 13:09:13 UTC

Bullshit.

2017-07-30 13:09:29 UTC

Scientifically, we have no free will. We are conscious insects.

2017-07-30 13:09:33 UTC

The two align most of the time

2017-07-30 13:09:43 UTC

Be a selfish asshole and you'll fall out of the group

2017-07-30 13:09:53 UTC

By removing the flawed biological beings that humans are and replacing them with machines

2017-07-30 13:09:53 UTC

>no free will
gtfo

2017-07-30 13:10:08 UTC

gtfo what?

2017-07-30 13:10:18 UTC

i hate the no free will meme, does it even matter if it's true or not?

2017-07-30 13:10:29 UTC

Show me free will, I will paypal you 1,000 AUS

2017-07-30 13:10:31 UTC

It's the inevitable next step of evolution

2017-07-30 13:10:31 UTC

It's a bs meme pushed by nihilists

2017-07-30 13:10:45 UTC

i just choose to type this message out of my own free will

2017-07-30 13:10:50 UTC

what do you want as proof, chopin?

2017-07-30 13:11:02 UTC

If you are not determined by material law, do several miracles now.

2017-07-30 13:11:22 UTC

We'll inevitably hit a point where all labour is being performed by machines and at that point humans will have no other purpose than to sit around and enjoy themselves

2017-07-30 13:11:34 UTC

so your argument for there not being free will is I can't create miracles?

2017-07-30 13:11:45 UTC

They will be obsolete, machines will be able to continue what we've started without us in this equation

2017-07-30 13:11:51 UTC

just because we're restricted by physics doesn't mean we don't have free will in our capacity to do so

2017-07-30 13:11:51 UTC

What's a demonstration of free will that you'll accept as proof?

2017-07-30 13:12:19 UTC

Well, what is free will? It is being able to do A instead of B. But since time is linear, A always happens.

2017-07-30 13:12:47 UTC

What will remain is still humanity, not biological humanity, but humanity nevertheless.

2017-07-30 13:12:47 UTC

simple example, picking a shirt to put on, how is that not a choice in free will?

2017-07-30 13:13:12 UTC

Basically because an alternative was never possible.

2017-07-30 13:13:18 UTC

Science.

2017-07-30 13:13:18 UTC

why not?

2017-07-30 13:13:30 UTC

Because only one reality manifests.

2017-07-30 13:13:37 UTC

It's not falsifiable.

2017-07-30 13:13:48 UTC

See this is why it's a meme
