Socialism (in Marxism): a mode of production which has superseded capitalism and production is solely for use, the law of value is no longer present, production is coordinated through economic planning, and economic output is distributed based upon contribution
Communism: a state of society where all means of production are commonly owned and economic output is freely distributed, emerging from advancements in the productive forces which means there is material abundance
Marxism: economic/political theory of capitalism and class conflict
Also technically a philosophy
ok well the government has to be involved in order to keep this kind of society from collapsing on itself
do you agree that government involvement is necessary for this
How would it collapse
without government intervention people would not be coordinated
they would end up defaulting back to a capitalist system
capitalist systems are inevitable in societies with no government intervention
they just form
human nature
muh human nature
thats what it is
its not just some talking point
your vision of communism must have government intervention to work
Human nature isn't static, it changes based upon the structure of society
Both on a macro and micro scale
2000 years ago polygamy would be "human nature"
"your vision of communism"
when i say "you're" I'm obviously talking about the entire ideology
There are no individual/unique visions of communism
human nature, if left alone and without government intervention, tends to default to the "survivalist" attitude, choosing what's best for the individual over the community
this can be seen all over the world
The difference lies with the means, not the ends
I just explained human nature
but do you have evidence to support it
have there been studies
There isn't a specific code of behavior in our DNA
whats the proof
What's the proof that greed is inherent and not influenced by the structure of society
there is behavior encoded into our dna from birth
such as survival instincts
Breathing, eating, and taking a shit
studies have shown that people tend to share personality traits with their parents
even if they are separated
Can you give me proof that humans are greedy from birth
That they are motivated by monetary incentive from birth
here's an example
if you were offered 1 cookie or 2 which would you take
