Way more capitalistic than what we have now
closer to actual capitalism
but then what do we have now?
corporatism
I don't understand this notion that capitalism is not a mode of production
state involvement in things as welfare and healthcare
It's not fair capitalism if you have top compete with the state
why not just say livertarianism instead of capitalism?
if you wanna say free market
libertarianism also has the social freedom, capitalism doesn't say much about homosexuality and such
the only way I see that you can put capitalism into some historical perspective is to call it a mode of production, a social relation of production. This was exactly what changed when we went from feudalism to capitalism in the american and french revolutions
and it was what changed in the anarchist revolutions
and it was what changed when people revolted against slave society
I don't see another way to properly put capitalism into it's place in history
Well shame for you then
Still very much recommend that debate I linked, a fair debate with two competent sides
who are the sides?
I'm not gonna watch it sorry, or atleast not tonight
doesn't have to be tonight
Simply socialists vs capitalists
dude lmao
watch it or don't
I'm just interested
will this be obvious shortly into the debate?
you already said that the person in favor of capitalism is a libertarian
but is the socialist an ancom, marksoc or ml?
not always, can be conservative too
very imporntat
in that debate
that specific person
go find out
cause I don't remember, not that it's any big deal in a debate anyway
it's absolutely a big deal. A marxist will view the world very different than an ancom
like a right-libertarian will view the world very differently than a fascist
Okay dude watch it or don't I don't care
I'm not going to rewatch it to tell you what his side specifically is called
well okay
I'll try and find out by watching the first part
first bit*
oh wow the debate starts 28 minutes in
