That is all
No, historical materialism is a thing as well. Historical materialism considers all of these things interconnected, all of each of these factors exist as a factor of the progression of history, for example we can see religion is changed through the social conditions of the time, social norms are the largest determining factor in many of these. Also how does weather have anything to do with economic progression wtf? History is not a progression of accidents. We see that dialectically as I have already stated these things are factors as well, we see these factors usually shift off of the social conditions, which is determined by the economic conditions. As Stalin says on the interconnectivity of nature; ```Contrary to metaphysics, dialects does not regard nature as an accidental agglomeration of things, of phenomena, disconnected with, isolated from, and independent of, each other, but as a connected and integral whole, in such things phenomena are organically connected with, dependent on, and determined by each other,.```
@cmad fascists can't read that much
You're scarring them
lmao
This still doesn't address the fact that there is not historical precedent for a global communist society. There isn't even precedent for a national communist society. You are taking a big leap in logic by inferring that this stateless global order must form because of previous changes in the mode of production.
*national communist society*
Society will change, but not in the drastic leap that communists believe will happen
Unless you hand control of the means of production to AI, then you may have a better argument
Woah
But that wouldn't be communism then because the proletarian would not exist
We have a transhumanist
I'm talking about theory, even then I haven't done much research about a global AI order haha
Communism is an inevitability because of scientific advancement. Our productivity will gradually reach a point where communism is the only reasonable system
Though it’s a much better idea to discuss socialism because that is achievable now
and it has been observed
The proletarian will be replaced by the AI in any case. The proletarian is subject to extinction within the next 60 years in fact
Socialism was extremely successful in the USSR
Greatly improved the standards of living for the people their
And rapidly industrialized a back water nation into an economic power house
Do you mean through an extinction event or through the collapse of capitalism when you say “the proletariat is subject to extinction”
The industrialization program was started by the tsar, the Soviets just continued it
@☭ Anon ☭ I mean that there will no longer be a working class once AI can do any meaningful job, but faster
and more efficiently
That’s great. We’ll have achieved automation
Actually 40
@Americus that's called a post scarcity Economy
Which will lead to the eventual nullification of capitalism and labor
As well as economic class
Machines are coldly logical. Population growth will cause them to make the only logical decision. There is no such thing as post scarcity, as long as there are growing populations there will always be a struggle for resources
Industrialized nations have a neutral population flux
^ yuh
If the whole world was industrialized and lived in comfort then population would eventually even out
At least based on the data we have from every nation that had ever industrialized
Americus
Ai will not advance that fast
global economic disaster will first speed up the decay of capitalism
fascism solves nothing at that point so
Food production has a maximum level, the earth does not have enough resources to support the population of the Earth if every nation can produce surpluses. In the short term there will be massive population growth but it is unsustainable in the long run
we have enough food production to feed 1.8 times the population
