Many communists famous and not famous faced harsh circumstances which usually drives them to radicalism, and not to mention personal experience isn’t required to have an opinion on something, you can draw from the experiences of others such as Karl Marx did as the working class conditions of England were terrible... And as I said many communists faced tough conditions growing up as well, Stalin was abused by his father as a child for example, however still this argument really isn’t a valid critique of communism from the start, as I said you can draw from the experiences of others.
