I was thinking that

2021-03-04 04:08:40 UTC

If you find a dead body and report it to the police

2021-03-04 04:08:49 UTC

You'll be an instant suspect

2021-03-04 04:08:55 UTC

Especially if you tamper with the crime scene

2021-03-04 04:09:14 UTC

true. either way you're getting screwed. but for the first one you can at least film it or something

2021-03-04 04:09:27 UTC

Also with the assault

2021-03-04 04:09:45 UTC

The victim would probably be able to tell the police you're innocent

2021-03-04 04:10:01 UTC

Though of course things can happen

2021-03-04 04:10:05 UTC

To affect the victim's memory

2021-03-04 04:10:49 UTC

Oh wait

2021-03-04 04:10:54 UTC

Deadly assault

2021-03-04 04:10:56 UTC

So nvm

2021-03-04 04:11:51 UTC

Well one advantage with that

2021-03-04 04:11:58 UTC

You can give a description of the killer

2021-03-04 04:12:04 UTC

You have a better story

2021-03-04 04:12:10 UTC

"I saw this person kill this person"

2021-03-04 04:12:14 UTC

is a much better story than

2021-03-04 04:12:24 UTC

"I mysteriously found this dead body"

2021-03-04 04:33:35 UTC

Yea lol

2021-03-04 05:18:19 UTC

Yeah I think witnessing a deadly assault gives a better chance of finding that person guilty rather than finding a dead body and not knowing who it 100% was. I'm a son of a Captain at my sheriff's department that's been in law enforcement for over 20 years and hear this stuff all the time.

2021-03-04 05:19:04 UTC

Couldn't ask for a better father though.<:salut:730846445732888630>

2021-03-04 05:31:14 UTC

In a deadly assault, you have a small chance of saving someone. I would gladly give my life for someone else so there would be justice done in that situation much more.

2021-03-04 05:42:20 UTC

Right with ya there bud.

2021-03-04 05:42:56 UTC

I'll always try to do something either way in a situation like that.

2021-03-04 06:01:37 UTC

The problem with defending somebody else (I'm going with the assumption it's not a family member or close friend because then I wouldn't care) is even with strong self defense laws like my state has, you can and unfortunately likely would be charged and maybe convicted (where if it becomes a felony you also lose your second amendment rights) for using my weapon when my life was not personaly in danger. I'd still likely try and intervene because I'm just like that but pulling a gun means you have to be willing to live with the death of someone who wasn't a direct threat to you along with the legal repercussions.

2021-03-04 06:18:55 UTC

David actually talked

2021-03-04 07:31:38 UTC

You might be thinking of Deev lol.

2021-03-04 17:19:35 UTC

Yeah, if someone was being assaulted there would only dead person, and it would be the criminal. Technically I would have still witnessed a deadly assault.

2021-03-04 17:20:51 UTC

the repercussion is gonna be a big deal to worry about

2021-03-04 17:21:33 UTC

you still have value in courts. nonetheless. your biggest concern would be to get out of there safe and sound

2021-03-04 18:36:51 UTC

Yes it definitely depends on who is being assulted. Personally I would, without hesitation, defend anyone younger than myself. It would take a bit more contemplation if I were to sacrifice my life for someone older than me. I also can't just think about myself. If I die at 17 then I would never meet my future wife or kids. I want to have a family and I would put their future existence before a stranger.

2021-03-04 21:00:30 UTC

Yeah.

2021-03-04 21:45:23 UTC

i'm a coward, so the witnessing assault is more risky to me personally, just because of the potential guilt and potential need for "heroic action"

2021-03-04 22:06:38 UTC

I think a lot of us would feel the same way, we just don't necessarily want to admit it.

2021-03-04 22:06:54 UTC

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

2021-03-04 22:07:10 UTC

i kinda come in term with the fact that i'm a coward irl

2021-03-04 23:23:04 UTC

Does the streaming poll including the streaming services I'm leaching off family members or only the ones I pay for?

2021-03-04 23:28:29 UTC

probs just what you use

2021-03-04 23:28:41 UTC

my family has netflix but I don't use it

2021-03-05 00:04:30 UTC

There's an awful lot that could be included in the other category
Peacock, Paramount+, HBOmax, Pluto

2021-03-05 00:13:55 UTC

I would trade Discovery+ for HBOmax
