I was making a joke on the word "Revolutionary" being usurped by communists.
Yeah I get it
But the question is what is someone rebelling against, and what is the foundation of what they believe.
as a christian we should be rebelling against the ways of this world, not violently though.
with a foundation of the Gospel
That's just my thoughts.
Well, personal accountability is no stranger to the discussion either, I might add. Like, you can have a few months of partying and being stupid, and if you're not done learning your lesson after that, then you're either oblivious as to what's happening in your life, or you've chosen that biblical teachings just aren't for you.
Because that kind of behavior does start having an effect on your morals and in consequence the effect on your morals tends to have an effect on your life.
fascinating and wonderful story

I feel like males want respect and female want love. From an emotional standpoint
Seems accurate
Yeah. Train up a child in the way he should go. And when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs
Yup.
This is true, people will often go back to what they learned very early in life, whether they intend to or not.
Yeah it's about building a strong foundation. Know the in and out so that doubt won't ruin a person's faith
Mm I will try to incorporate that.
When they go astray they will know where to come “home” to
both is good
@Kreia's Disciple men need honor as much as women need love.
Truth. I mean that’s why Zuko was trying to capture the Avatar
@Jaisea the Rapper one of the problems we're having in marriages these days is people don't know the difference between respect and honor.
HONOR. Reverence and respect given to some being, whether God or a creature, because of its recognized excellence. So, too, the reverence shown to anything because of its relation to a person who is honored.
RESPECT. Esteem for someone or something, arising out of special regard for that object because of his, her, or its excellence. More properly it refers to persons, and it refers to things only because of the persons with whom they are associated. It implies a deference to the one respected and to that extent a sense of inferiority in the one who has or shows respect.
I am also Romanian lol
But we know that James was Jesus’ actual brother as Paul refers to Him as such while not doing so for the other disciples. Furthermore there was an instance where Mary and Jesus’ sisters went to Jesus and confronted Him
I misspelled “many” LOL
Remember, there was no translation for cousin and such, only brother. We only know that John is Jesus’ cousin since Mary and Elizabeth are stated to be sisters. The old books could have used the same word for brother for John, but since Elizabeth is already established, we refer to him as a cousin
Under this case then Elizabeth could easily have been Mary’s cousin too
Exact same thing I was thinking
But we’ve taken them as sisters for so long, nobody would really want to over think it
I always heard they were cousins
Please explain.
It could go both ways, but it doesn’t really change much, it’s not like it changes canon or the message of God
Can u point out the verse? For me to look up the greek or latin lexicons. Sometimes stuff gets lost in translation and the old manuscripts is all we got to go on.
The meaning could be like culturally tied in, like here we have an expression "straight from the horse's mouth"...which doesn't involve a mouth or even horses. Lol.
The greek lexicon is ἀδελφὸς (adelphos) a broad term that means "brother", broad because they used it to mean brother from the same mother, a cousin or a brother from another mother (kinsman).
For real lol and r u pentecostal too
Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.
John 21:25 ESV
Not to be confused with James the brother of John, the sons of Zebedee.
Matthew 27:56 Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of the sons of Zebedee.
The bible is suuuper meticulous on linneages.
I may have been wrong, not sure, this is from a commentary I use, about Matthew 27:56 "and Mary the mother of James and Joses—the wife of Cleophas, or rather Clopas, and sister of the Virgin (Jn 19:25). See on Mt 13:55, 56."
