Yup.

2021-02-28 21:26:57 UTC

This is true, people will often go back to what they learned very early in life, whether they intend to or not.

2021-02-28 21:28:00 UTC

Yeah it's about building a strong foundation. Know the in and out so that doubt won't ruin a person's faith

2021-02-28 21:28:33 UTC

Mm I will try to incorporate that.

2021-02-28 21:29:27 UTC

When they go astray they will know where to come “home” to

2021-02-28 22:19:23 UTC

both is good

2021-02-28 22:45:06 UTC

@Kreia's Disciple men need honor as much as women need love.

2021-02-28 23:44:17 UTC

Truth. I mean that’s why Zuko was trying to capture the Avatar

2021-02-28 23:45:19 UTC

@Jaisea the Rapper one of the problems we're having in marriages these days is people don't know the difference between respect and honor.

2021-02-28 23:55:11 UTC

HONOR. Reverence and respect given to some being, whether God or a creature, because of its recognized excellence. So, too, the reverence shown to anything because of its relation to a person who is honored.

2021-02-28 23:55:15 UTC

RESPECT. Esteem for someone or something, arising out of special regard for that object because of his, her, or its excellence. More properly it refers to persons, and it refers to things only because of the persons with whom they are associated. It implies a deference to the one respected and to that extent a sense of inferiority in the one who has or shows respect.

I am also Romanian lol

2021-03-01 00:47:18 UTC

But we know that James was Jesus’ actual brother as Paul refers to Him as such while not doing so for the other disciples. Furthermore there was an instance where Mary and Jesus’ sisters went to Jesus and confronted Him

2021-03-01 00:47:58 UTC

I misspelled “many” LOL

2021-03-01 00:52:34 UTC

Remember, there was no translation for cousin and such, only brother. We only know that John is Jesus’ cousin since Mary and Elizabeth are stated to be sisters. The old books could have used the same word for brother for John, but since Elizabeth is already established, we refer to him as a cousin

2021-03-01 01:04:03 UTC

Under this case then Elizabeth could easily have been Mary’s cousin too

2021-03-01 01:04:23 UTC

Exact same thing I was thinking

2021-03-01 01:04:48 UTC

But we’ve taken them as sisters for so long, nobody would really want to over think it

2021-03-01 01:04:58 UTC

I always heard they were cousins

2021-03-01 01:05:28 UTC

Please explain.

2021-03-01 01:09:43 UTC

It could go both ways, but it doesn’t really change much, it’s not like it changes canon or the message of God

2021-03-01 01:16:58 UTC

Can u point out the verse? For me to look up the greek or latin lexicons. Sometimes stuff gets lost in translation and the old manuscripts is all we got to go on.
The meaning could be like culturally tied in, like here we have an expression "straight from the horse's mouth"...which doesn't involve a mouth or even horses. Lol.

2021-03-01 01:42:42 UTC

The greek lexicon is ἀδελφὸς (adelphos) a broad term that means "brother", broad because they used it to mean brother from the same mother, a cousin or a brother from another mother (kinsman).

2021-03-01 01:45:37 UTC

For real lol and r u pentecostal too

2021-03-01 01:48:10 UTC

Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.
John 21:25 ESV

2021-03-01 01:54:30 UTC

Not to be confused with James the brother of John, the sons of Zebedee.

2021-03-01 01:59:05 UTC

Matthew 27:56 Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of the sons of Zebedee.

2021-03-01 02:01:50 UTC

The bible is suuuper meticulous on linneages.

2021-03-01 02:07:56 UTC

I may have been wrong, not sure, this is from a commentary I use, about Matthew 27:56 "and Mary the mother of James and Joses—the wife of Cleophas, or rather Clopas, and sister of the Virgin (Jn 19:25). See on Mt 13:55, 56."

2021-03-01 02:15:10 UTC

We all make spelling mistakes

2021-03-01 02:18:02 UTC

Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas?
Matthew 13:55

2021-03-01 02:19:54 UTC

Hey I'm Romanian! cum e ziua ta prietene!

2021-03-01 02:36:34 UTC

That was my original thought.

2021-03-01 02:37:34 UTC

Yeah what comment did I make that made you think that just curious

2021-03-01 02:46:37 UTC

what do you mean?

2021-03-01 02:51:07 UTC

Did I say something indicating that I was Romanian? @Supertonesfan91

2021-03-01 02:51:48 UTC

Cool...i know someone from tsiormina (i probably misspelled the city).

2021-03-01 02:53:19 UTC

Oops it's taormina.

2021-03-01 02:54:00 UTC

2021-03-01 02:54:30 UTC

2021-03-01 02:54:48 UTC

Matthew 13:55"
