For an array of reasons. I don’t use it, but it seems to stand more so for rebellion or southern pride. 99% of the time, is really isn’t used for “white supremacy”

Nah, all fake. The “confederate flag” wasn’t even for the confederacy apparently. It was used for one battle, so you can’t say it represented white supremacy. The only real sign of hate would be a swastika, since it stood for much evil

Pretty much, I know a guy who is way more into the Civil War. He said that the is wasn’t all that justified like WWII

They tried to overthrow the constitution and president who was honoring his commitment to it, treason.

He said the south didn’t only break off because of slavery and weren’t all evil

It’s not about associating with the confederacy it’s just that it’s part of our history and it can’t be ignored in anyway

That doesnt really mean you should fly the flag and in many cases blatantly deny the actual history
