i mean i use cruise control almost anywhere but city centre

i could care less if someone tailgates then i just lower the speed on cruise control sloowly

Moving out of the way sometimes doesn't work unless you just go sideway, wait for them to go ahead of you and then continue... and on a motorway that's not always doable particularly when there's traffic

And that unfortunately happens quite often since I'm in a quite congested part of the country

Sometimes I just pull the rearview mirror up in order not to be blinded by it but it's really not ideal as I'm still blinded by the side mirrors and I don't see shit behind anymore
