My group's about to start a city scape campaign where the city is corrupt af

so we're probably gonna be criminals and slowly control the city

well that's why we're only gonna start with 2500 worth of nonmagical gear

welp we beat the green dragon

all it took was 5 days of preparing an ambush

that ambush included.... magic scrolls, a ballista, and training a retired soldier how to load a ballista...

me being a rouge. was of course the one to fire the ballista getting that extra bit of sneak attack dmg.... also because i was the only one without multi-attack. so it would make sense anyways.

first round our paladin took a poison blast to the face. failed the save and took something like 50 dmg. luckily we were able to kill it before it got off a second.

the combat lasted a total of 4 rounds

he tried to run away but....

a 3 level magic missile from our sorcerer ended that

my kenku is now looking for a tanner to make him some new green digs

now all i need is some mithril to stud the thing after
