I forgot their names but one pushed for privatization
Cause that's the corpdem conceded so Medicare for all years ago to placate demsocs.
As for open borders. Cheap labor is very pro corp
Huh, I didn’t think of it that way
Makes sense now that I think about it
He opposed cutting private insurance
Yea Delaney wanted privatization and an option for free Medicare for all
But that’s still Medicare for all
Half of Medicare is paid for through a private insurance route option or something.
@EnderOctanus tbh that was the middle ground. The more dem soc are all med for all. The Corp dems have adopted a middle ground of "med and private"
So where would a conservative Democrat fall?
Corp dem?
Or just somewhere else?
@EnderOctanus no. There is an option for med advantage which is a private alternative but you pay the difference, and medigap which is all paid by the buyer
Closer to Tulsi
@Murrax9 depends on what status quo they are protecting.
But yea mostly Corp dem to Classical Liberal (though most of them have been pushed out)
They would be classical liberals.
Tulsi isnt classic lib
She is just an anti war corp dem
Who have joined the Republicans mostly
Yeah that’s about where I fall. But I don’t agree with anyone on the democrats. Joe Manchin is the only guy I remotely agree with on that side
No I'm saying she's closest they showed to conservative
Do you think most people mean “someone who protects the status quo” when they say conservative?
Eh maybe on topics discussed, but even that she is....swishy washy. Since iirc she is pro amnesty.
@Murrax9 outside of the US yes
I mean inside the US
Well N America
Most people don't know how politics works lol
^
When the media polls democrats to see who is conservative
What do they mean by this
Right leaning
If they do it smart. They will ask conservation questions, that arnt bias
How close to the center are they of the baseline
But they dont so never get a straight answer
Man, politics has gotten so conflated and stupid
No
It always was.
It's mostly the education system
Collective stupidity.
