The problem I have with patents is that these mega conglomerates like the big medicine companies can just choose the price for these things. Stopping the advancment of cost effective products, cheap products, etc. it costs 5 dollars for a company in the US to create insulin. But that company sells ot for 600 dollars

depends how useful the invention is, if its a cure for cancer they shouldnt be able to withhold it and just be reimbursed with whatever they want

On yhe other hand. If you have some small guy Who is alone snd finds something out. These same companies can just steal his idea
