so we should find another stick

2019-10-22 09:55:33 UTC

No you can't argue that anything affects you

2019-10-22 09:55:38 UTC

you can

2019-10-22 09:55:39 UTC

That is false

2019-10-22 09:55:59 UTC

libtards do this all the time, with like sexist depictions of so and so on the media or whatever therefore we need to censor such and such and this guy needs to lose his job

2019-10-22 09:56:47 UTC

Yes they are clearly lying

2019-10-22 09:56:53 UTC

we need google searches to show niggers because if we show whites when people search for inventors then black people will be discouraged and this hurts their chances of being successful

2019-10-22 09:56:57 UTC

you can justify anything in this rubric

2019-10-22 09:58:29 UTC

But again they argue in bad faith and deception.

2019-10-22 09:58:51 UTC

ok but you have nothing within the rule of "does it affect me?" to counter bad faith claims of harm

2019-10-22 09:58:58 UTC

Someone minding their own private business with other consenting adults does not affect me. That is objective reality.

2019-10-22 09:59:50 UTC

I'm not at all following the libtard thing you brought up

2019-10-22 09:59:59 UTC

i mean it's kind of like the supreme court's expansion of the interstate commerce clause to include activities occurring solely within one state, because, paraphrasing, the cumulative effects of commerce happening within a state influences interstate commerce

2019-10-22 10:00:19 UTC

<:think_madpepe:378717098630971395>

2019-10-22 10:01:50 UTC

I'm more lost. Again it's not rocket science. Consenting adults doing business selling drugs or fucking themselves in the ass in their own private property does not affect me in any way shape or form. If it can't harm me it's totally fine. They can commit suicide for all I care.

2019-10-22 10:02:22 UTC

Putting toxins in your body, turning your brain into CUMbrain I couldn't give less of a shit

2019-10-22 10:03:21 UTC

to give a concrete example, the federal government was trying to regulate wheat farmers during one of the wars. farmers said i only sell to local people, so you have no jurisdiction under the interstate commerce clause. feds said "well acshually, cumulatively, all the farmers each selling to people in their own states -does- affect the interstate market in wheat, therefore we have jurisdiction over you even if you're just minding your own business and selling to people in kentucky"

2019-10-22 10:04:04 UTC

guess who won

2019-10-22 10:04:15 UTC

The government?

2019-10-22 10:04:17 UTC

ye

2019-10-22 10:04:28 UTC

Okay yes I thought so.

2019-10-22 10:04:44 UTC

The farmers should've opened fire on the feds

2019-10-22 10:04:50 UTC

Even if they all end up dead

2019-10-22 10:04:55 UTC

kek

2019-10-22 10:04:58 UTC

It doesn't change my stance though

2019-10-22 10:05:07 UTC

basically my point is it's very hard to establish whether something did or didn't influence someone

2019-10-22 10:05:17 UTC

It is really easy.

2019-10-22 10:05:55 UTC

Communists/fascists and tyrants try and bullshit their way into making you submit

2019-10-22 10:06:20 UTC

Even if you do submit by force they still do not hold the moral high ground.

2019-10-22 10:08:19 UTC

I'm not arguing whether you can hold onto your rights if the opposition is simply too powerful and you have no chance against them. I'm merely arguing morally.

2019-10-22 10:08:27 UTC

Reality is unfair and cruel.

2019-10-22 10:09:40 UTC

btw nearly all of the civil rights act, federal employment law, and the war on drugs depend on this misinterpretation of the interstate commerce clause by the supreme court

2019-10-22 10:09:54 UTC

so it's not just a trivial theoretical problem

2019-10-22 10:10:05 UTC

but has big consequences

2019-10-22 10:10:56 UTC

Yes big gov is big gay
