Islam is more of a heretical fanfic of the Bible and the Talmud.

Bars are always closed on that day but I never hear anyone directly say alcohol is prohibited, although literally none of my family or extended family are religious, although nearly everyone I know celebrates good friday by eating no meat as a cultural thing despite not being Christian nor "cultural Christian".
