the middle ground is where everyone wants to be
isnt centrist rock just rock?
@M4Gunner I'd love to see what kind of art you like
I'd imagine centrist rock (becuase it doesn't need to be coined... so I'd coin it), would be pretty much any kind of rock, with a possibility of humour.
well it depends because im kinda not into a lot of it anymore, i used to like the genki-genki dude from japan whose link im not even gonna post because the thumbnail popup alone could probly get me beanned
*i t ' s h a p p e n i n g*
and then i was into all that dada surrealism s††† though mostly just dali and i actually liked escher more cause i heavily respect his math since i suck at math
and i really like 2pac but i found out this week that he was a commie =/
lots of rap and surrealism and noise drones
ill self promote myself cause why not
this is just some electronic music, not very clubby but not altogether psychotic

@Jab I'm looking forward to the day when Jordan Peterson's fame dies down and he goes back to giving normal psychology lectures
Erg... Since I do "surrealism". I got compared to Dali alot... he was a wanker, but even he knew it.
Dali is the artist as celebrity, and im not into celebrity
@M4Gunner So this is your channel?
Also, you don't have to be a Marxist to be a surrealist... there is reasons why people were drawn to it, but most of there work was shit.
Orwell said this. he doesnt like dali
the soundcloud channel is mine ya
The Australian surrelist pointed out Dali was a lazt oil painter... I love that... sick burn.
*lazy
he is so not
dali achieved complete technical mastery through godbillions of hours of hard work
i wanna see his argument. it may not be a traditional oil style, but it looks exactly how he wanted it in most cases im sure
He never took advantage of the medium and he used it like a pencil, tempora or other medium which didn't have the slow drying quality of oil.
thats what orwell is saying
I can make stickfigures exactly how I imagine
or how I want
thats prescriptivist as fucc
Dali was a clean surrealist. He came up with a concept and completed the work. Surrealism was about play.
his work is plenty playful
its much more palateable than many other surrealist artists who discredited him
iirc they were also annoyed he wouldnt join them in their various political leanings
:/
Surrealism wasn't political until the second maniphesto.
Which a lot rejected.
Why would an artist prescribe to an opinion rather than his own?
what's going on?
Breton said some s†††
but his work just aint as good
Breton was interesting, but the surrealist "movement" was like "grundge"... it was there before people tried to name it.
Ernst is a much better example, but he came from Dadaist stock.
I dont like the actual dadaist works that much because its just trolling
