Jeebus... things seem so serious right now... I just found out a long lasting Aussie radio station allows Australian bands to host a band page and songs for some sort of competition... I'm Australian and I wanted tips for a non-offensive (but theoretically offensive)-band name for a band that doesn't exist.

I'm pretty pro-capitalist in a lot of ways, but the speed of growth if a stupid argument :/ I don't get what you are arguing about.

I actually don't like socialism that much, but it has some okay ideas (in small doses)... Marxism? Erg... Socialism is still shite, but refined it. But I think reading through different political ideas can be befinifical.

Erm... I'm a lonely dev... My current favourites are C++11 and Javascript (HTML5 canvas derivitive), but I do the sound, graphics and other crap too.

I'm writing a C++ engine for Windows, Linux and Android right now with SDL2. Saving me a lot of time.

Just 2D. I'm using Lua as the scripting language.

I'd say, write the first game in pure C++ if you're just learning. Look into Finite state machines, it's an old process, but it's solid. I still use it.

hehehehe... sometimes (if drunk), I do "mouth foley"... but it's all to do with understanding of hardware and software.

Depending on the project, sometimes I create pure synthetic sounds. This might be LMMS or MilkyTracker, but I usually bring it together with Audacity.

Oh god... I hated my University studies... I did "fine arts"... it was "marxist concepts" as far as I'm concerned.

It's actually funny becuase you sort of don't notice it at first... but when a lecturer told the young Christian girl who painted ladies with bunny ears, "CAPITALISM BREEDS SEXISM!"... I stopped responding and just giggled a lot.

I'm okay if people "aren't nice"... just get a bit freaked out if people fixate on me for odd reasons.

Oh, fun little tip... if you go to a University/coledge and see someone handing out fliers for political reasons, always say "What's the difference between left and right? I've never thought about it!"... You get interesting explanations of their political positions.

The thing that always freaked me out was the removal of the human element... Bad things exist in reality, the current "system" is capatilism, therefore, all bad things that happen must be caused by capitalism.

My arts course is part of the reason I don't exhibit artwork anymore... Though it's mainly my city.

I'm Australian. It's very HARD left leaning here... Especially when it comes to big city art galleries. We're lucky that we (as far as I know), don't have obscure hate speach laws like Brittan, but I don't care for out "contempory arts scene".

I had so many arguments about what "abstract" means with my lecturers... it has an english term... I use that. I'd say surrealism stems from dadaism, which, I guess would be considered left leaning... I dunno...

I think "F is for Family" has an honesty that has been lacking in animation since "King of the hill".

At least when it comes to a family centred show.

When it comes to animation, if I ever get enough free time, I sort of just want to mess around with abstract pshychological concepts, no "of-the-times" political crap... but I've been thinking about pitching a show to a relative with a film background... but it would be comedy based around "Poes law"... is that immoral?

I always find that hard to figure out...but it makes me giggle :/

It's pretty close to gass lighting if I want to push the Poe's law thing pretty hard... I'd like constant hints, but I've seen some pretty badly written shit taken seriousely.

Apart from work, I've got two painting for a competition, an engine to code and assets for a game to test out the engine... I'm happy I've watched all the newest episodes of "Ash vs the Evil Dead" though.

But I always try to push in time for a shitty horror movie when falling asleep.
